Strong motivation leads employees to work with high performance, if not, it can end in termination of employment. This work motivation can be influenced from within or from outside individual employees. The high rate turnover at Ananda Bekasi Hospital is a strong reason to look for the causes and solutions. External causes can be due to workload, leadership style, salary, work atmosphere and others. This study aimed to analyze the effect of workload and competence on work motivation with compensation as an intervening variable in 180 implementing nurses, through a quantitative descriptive causality approach and SEM analysis. , it is known that Indonesia has experienced the impact of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic, and making health workers at the forefront of potential exposure to the Covid-19 virus because they have to deal with Covid-19 patients every day during the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to focus on developing an empirical model to increase job performance in the hospital to create the right quality of work and still make the organization grow well sustainably. This study will use assistance of quality of work life, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and psychological empowerment in creating an increase in job performance needed by nurses at the Type B Hospital in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach through a questionnaire survey method conducted on nurses at 36 Type B Hospital in Jakarta, totalling 400 respondents. The sample used in this study was obtained through a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of a service period of more than 2 years. Then the data were analysed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Though quality of work life is found to significantly affect organizational commitment, job satisfaction and psychological empowerment, its effect on job performance found to be insignificant. In an effort to achieve the goals set by hospital, qualified nurses are needed. Qualified nurses must show good performance. There are many factors that affect nurse performance. This research was conducted to study the effect of job motivation, job satisfaction, and attitude towards profession on nurse performance in the Outpatient Clinics of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital. The research was an analytical study using a survey method. The subjects of this research were the 62 nurses in the Outpatient Clinics. Data were collected via a self-administered questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis was used to examine the relationship among variables. The Objectives of this research were to examine and analyzes empirically abot: (1). The influence of competence to the work satisfaction of the nurses, (2). As respondents of population was the number of nurses at the private hospitals class B in Makassar. They were 1.009 nurses. This research used Slovin Method sampling. The samples of this research consist of 170 respondents, which the samples determined by proportional technique. Propostional Stratified Random Sampling formula was used to agglomerate the hospital and each care unit of the object research. In which the data was analyzed by Path Analysis in testing hypotheses. The analyzsis r esult showed: (1). Competence, work emvironment, and leadership transformational had influence significantly to work satisfaction of the nurses, (2). Work environment, leadership transformational, and work satisfaction had influence significantly to the performance of the nurse s, (3). Competence did not influence significantly to the performance of the nurses. But competence coult increased performance of th e nurses in work satisfaction of the nurses, so competence would had better meaning when the hospital could increased work satisfaction of the nurses as reality of the implementation of competency that was getting better. The practical implication of this research could given the increasing knowledge and understanding to the nurses and hospital management to improve the Perfor mance of the nurses at the private Hospitals class B in Makassar, through competence, work environment, leadership transformational, and work Satisfaction of the nurses.

Job satisfaction is a general attitude of an individual to the work he does. A person with a high level of job satisfaction shows a positive attitude towards his work, while someone who is not satisfied with his job shows a negative attitude towards his work. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of job satisfaction of nurses in General Hospitals under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Jakarta in 2019 based on 3 factors related to job satisfaction, namely organizational policy, workload and competency of nurses. This study used a cross sectional design with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The population was all the nurses in charge of the hospital which amounted to 38 people. Nurses who work in emergency room must have more skills, which is implied for every nurse who works in the emergency room to have a good performance. The study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and training on the performance of nurses in the emergency room at Datu Beru Takengon General Hospital in 2018.The design used a quantitative analytic survey. The population were all nurses in the emergency room of Datu Beru Hospital in Takengon by totalling 32 nurses and all were taken as the sample by using total population technique. Data analysis was performed by univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyses.The results showed that out of 15 respondents who had less motivation had a poor performance in the category of less than 9 people (60%) and of the 17 respondents who were motivated, motivation with nurse performance with Chi-Square statistical test obtained p-value =.032
