In order to to support physical distancing activities in the teaching and learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, an appropriate and effective learning model to fit the learning objectives must be developed. The CBE (Contextual Based on E-learning) learning model, developed from the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) model, was integrated with e-learning. This CTL learning model was chosen because this model is an innovative learning model where the process can assist students to connect learning with the context of their lives. This study aims to describe the model's effectiveness which was measured based on three aspects, namely: a) significant difference between students’ achievement in CBE model compared to that in traditional model; b) The effectiveness of CBE syntax in learning; c) Students’ perception on the new CBE model. This study is quantitative research with quasi experimental method. The results of the CBE model showed that the CBE model is significantly effe...

A Review of Educational Adaptation During the COVID-19 Pandemic via Online Learning
International Journal of Computing Sciences Research
Purpose-This study explains how the educational sector adapts to become more effective in the long run regarding the COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant hardship for families, children, educators, and teachers. Learning has been adapting to the digital economy. 1515 Method-The researchers employed the documentary method in this review article. Random sampling from reliable and valid sources was utilised in the first step and was analysed using content analysis from the selected papers adopting purposive sampling in the second step. Results-The findings reveal that in most countries, the COVID-19 lockdowns have produced a blended learning model that combines face-to-face education with e-learning. This means that class sizes have been reduced, students and teachers must maintain social distance, and learning schedules are staggered. Moreover, students can continue their education using online resources such as language apps, video conferencing tools, and virtual tutoring. Conclusion-Teachers have had to adapt to the educational world in distance education. Most teachers in schools and universities face this challenge, even though teachers lack the skills and equipment to provide adequate distance education in many developing nations. As governments consider reopening schools following the easing of quarantine restrictions, the safety of students and teachers should take precedence, and social isolation of students, access to personal protective equipment, and routine virus testing will be crucial. Recommendations-The role of instructors must shift from knowledge educator to learning motivator and progress manager. Additionally, the investment in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure of the education service to improve educational outcomes should be considered. Research Implications-The internet and technology in the classroom should be given serious consideration to becoming more competent. The government must improve and alter teachers' perceptions of educational technology integration. As teachers play a crucial role in ensuring that any new policy is implemented effectively and efficiently, they are essential in implementing any new initiative.

This paper investigates the accelerated transitions in education from traditional learning environment (TLE) through online learning environment (OLE) to Social, Innovative learning environment (SILE) and the latest trends of this change. Stages of transition were divided into three parts: before, during and after covid-19 pandemic which was the reason of this accelerated change. Features and characteristics of every stage of transitions were analyzed and discussed based on Ed-Space and classrooms, learning/teaching process, curriculums, ICT applications, Ed-approaches and knowledge transformation. A mixed-method design of comparative and thematic analysis approaches were used to investigate learning environments based on the literature reviews of previous publications in different learning environments. The analysis of these features revealed the main characteristics and differences in every stage. New trends of OLEs and SILEs including cloud platforms, MOOCs, Digital LMS, OER-OEP, m-learning and social network applications have been identified. Finally, this research has recommended some approaches for students/teachers to adopt OLEs and SILEs applications and educational institutions, governments and international community to support OLEs and SILEs in the future.
Student Strategies in Overcoming Learning Difficulties during The Covid-19 Pandemic
International Journal of Multidisciplinary, 2022
Along with Indonesia, the COVID-19 outbreak has expanded across the globe. All facets of community life are affected by this disruption, including the educational system, which shifts from face-to-face instruction to online distance learning. To break the link of the COVID-19 outbreak's spread, the West Sumatra PGRI STKIP campus has made changes to the educational system. Without having to travel to a campus, students can learn online from the comfort of their own homes. However, this causes students to have issues with internet networks, quota availability, and understanding in the classroom. The goal of this study was to describe the methods used by students to deal with challenges presented by online learning in the COVID-19 program. The idea put forth between COVID-19 outbreaks. Constructivism theory was the one that was employed. Additionally, this study takes a qualitative descriptive technique to offer information about students' online learning strategies. Twenty students and five professors served as the study's informants. using Matthew Milles and Huberman's interactive model to analyze the data after gathering it through interviews and documentation. The study's findings show that students always provide a quota before classes begin, opt for a place where they can easily access the internet, question friends about concepts they don't understand, read articles and tutorials on YouTube, and always have memory available.

Dramatic change in learning environments during the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the significance of virtual learning and led to more interactive learning environments. Quick adoption of online and social interactive learning in many universities around the world raised challenges and emphasized the importance of investigating different learning environments. This paper investigates the accelerated transition in education from traditional learning environments through online learning environments to social innovative learning environments, and the latest trends of this change. The stages of transition were divided into three parts: before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic, which was the reason for this accelerated change. Features and characteristics of each stage of transition were analyzed and discussed, based on the following factors: edu-space and classrooms, the learning and teaching process, curricular choices, information and communication technology applications, students' and educators' perceptions, edu-approaches, and knowledge transformation. A systematic review approach was used to investigate learning environments based on the literature reviews of previous publications. Analysis of these features revealed the main characteristics and differences in each stage. New trends in online learning environments and social innovative learning environments were identified including cloud platforms, massive open online courses, digital learning management systems, open educational resources, open educational practices, m-learning, and social network applications. Finally, this study makes two recommendations: 1) the adoption of online learning environments and social innovative learning environment applications to continue the e-learning process during the pandemic, and 2) the enhanced usage of online learning environments and social innovative learning environment applications in the future by educational institutions and governments.
