Recruitment is an essential tool to hire candidates. Over the years, the mediums for recruitment have been drastically changed. It principally started with the word of mouth and now is just a click away due to internet and technological advancements. With an increase in use of online platforms, electronic recruitment helps to attract and hire the best candidates to obtain people-based competitive advantage. This study has adopted a quantitative research approach to identify influence of attractiveness, job fit, time, and cost in E-recruitment. Primary data has been collected through questionnaire from a sample of 200 employees of a service sector businesses of Hyderabad Sindh, Pakistan. The findings reveal that large and desirable pool of candidates as well as placing the right candidates to right job has a direct relationship with electronic recruitment. The time and cost of recruitment has inverse relationship with the e-recruitment performed as perceived by employees in the selected service sector organizations of Hyderabad. Based on the findings, the study implies policy makers to apply newly developed concept of e-recruitment for future hiring.

This paper is based on the importance of E-Recruitment in recruitment process of the companies. Each and every organisation is set up with the purpose of achieving some objectives. It can be achieved only when all the resources are put to best use. Of all the resources, human resource is most important resource because full and proper utilisation of all others resources depend upon human resource. Management of human resource is of strategic importance for every concern. It deals with how to attract, maintain and retain best and potential employees inside the organisation. For the past two decades, there has been drastic change in field of human resource management; internet has influenced overall functioning of human resource department in one way and another. Today Erecruitment has become most sought after method for companies to recruit people in organisation. The purpose of the study is to know up to what Extent Company uses information technology for recruiting employees inside the organization. The study tries to provide some insight on the Recruitment practices with the special focus on E-Recruitment and current trends in India.
CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS OF THE E-RECRUITMENT SYSTEM
People are at the core of every organization, they are integral part of any organization today. Organizations cannot exist without staff to complete the production cycle. Therefore the organizations do not take their staff for granted. Choosing the right candidate at the right place has implications for an organization’s goals. Employee well selected and well placed would not only contribute to the efficient running of the organization but offer significant potential for future replacement. The recruitment strategy needs to be dynamic to let the organization grow. This research aims to help professionals in the HR departments and management to consider and improve how they recruit, develop and look after their staff. E-Management is one of the most challenges that organizations are facing in their businesses processes. Those processes are supported by the usage of electronic information system and applications. New technologies have been increasingly facilitated and speed up the communication and business process between the internal and external users. E-recruitment considered as a part of e-HRM and defined as the implementation of recruitment activates by involving the internet and using web solutions to operate and at the end it has the same goals of the traditional recruitment. Online recruitment is becoming more attractive for the employers and job seekers. Advantages and disadvantages of e-recruitment system were determined by examining the overall process. Throughout this research we will identify the influential factors that affect the success of using online recruitment instead of traditional recruitment and measure the effectiveness of each factor. The research is going to provide the organizations and HR members a wider vision how would they set up their recruitment strategies and retain their employees.

A Study on Effectiveness of E-Recruitment Method in IT Industries in Bangalore City, India

This E-recruitment is also known as Online recruitment where companies and HR professionals use Online methods such as posting the job online, on social media, or on their in-house platforms to post their job advertisements in search of potential candidates. E-recruitment is faster and more effective compared to the traditional methods of hiring and due to this fast-changing environment and trends, Companies/HR professionals want to adopt E-recruitment as a part of their hiring process. The title of my study is "A study on the effectiveness of adoption of E-recruitment method in IT industries in Bangalore city". Bangalore city is the IT Capital of India and is the fastest growing industry in the world and hence provides millions of job opportunities and there is a need for an effective and faster hiring process to fill this massive need. As Bangalore is called the Silicon Valley of India, I felt that there was a need to study how effective the E-recruitment methods are. This study was done to understand how effective the E-recruitment methods are in IT industries in Bangalore. This study was done using research methodologies where the sample size is 6 and sampling technique is Random Sampling method, data collection tool is Structured Questionnaire and Telephonic interview with HR professionals in Bangalore city. Variables like time saved, organizational change, unqualified candidates, etc. are chosen to collect and analyze the data. In this study, how effective the adoption of Erecruitment is in IT industries in Bangalore city is measured. To measure and analyze this, a Structured Questionnaire with a set of questions was administered via Google Forms and received 50 responses from HR professionals who reside in Bangalore City. The analysis for the study was carried out using SPSS Software and conclusions were drawn with the help of that analysis. This study concludes that there is good effectiveness of adoption of E-recruitment methods in IT industries in Bangalore city. HR professionals feel that time is saved in E-recruitment as many unqualified candidates do not apply to the unqualified job and the satisfaction of the candidates they hired, organization change in E-recruitment is important. HR professionals think that there is a need for good verification of candidates during online job postings.
E -Recruitment Transforming the Dimensions of Online Job Seeking: A Case of Pakistan
Abstract This research study aims to investigate the influence of adoption of e-recruitment method by job seekers in Karachi, Pakistan. It also analyzes the relationship between e-recruitment and their adoption behavior. A convenient sample of 250 job seekers from different universities students of Karachi was taken. After validating the instrument, one sample t-test was performed to test the relationship of selected variables i.e. cost saving, time saving, extensive search and unlimited excess with the behavior of job seekers in adopting a e-recruitment method. Using SPSS 17.0 Statistical evidence at 0.05 level of significance proved that cost saving, time saving, extensive search and unlimited excess are significantly correlated with a e-recruitment adoption. The findings are helpful for academicians, organizations and other institutions to design and market new web pages to attract more and more job seekers.

The results of managing e-recruitment in various organizations assessed the delicate fashion of online process-looking activities, which increased significantly. Five motivators of job seekers have been recollecting on this take a look, "Time-saving" is the top motivator, followed by the way of "surfing extensive places of employment", "global employment pool", "easiness" and "value-effective", respectively. These motivators encourage job seekers to go online to look for employment. The study recommends that HR practitioners be more aware and focus on online recruitment in Pakistan to attract many able-bodied personnel in less time. Invest more in developing online recruitment devices to get big go back on funding in a long way for cost-effective strategies. E-recruitment is also known as electronic recruitment or online recruitment. Now a days the traditional recruitment method has been revolutionized by the wave of the internet. Online recruitment has come a long way since its inception. The e-recruitment methods and systems have helped to identify the overall concept of e-recruitment. Recruitment has become an important process in the highly competitive labor market. The study explores the benefits of the e-recruitment process to the selected IT firms working in Nagpur City. In this descriptive research, a sample size of 100 respondents from 10 IT Firms operating in Nagpur City. The result of this study provides a valuable reference about the benefits of the erecruitment process to IT firms.
