field experiment was conducted to determine the effect of organic manures and bio-fertilizers on vegetative and yield parameters of brinjal (Solanum melongena) cv. Pant Rituraj at Crop Cafeteria, Galgotias University, Grater Noida. The experimental field was laid out in randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. The experimental treatments comprised of three organic manures viz. Farmyard Manure, Vermicompost and poultry manure in combination with two bio-fertilizers, namely Azospirillumand Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB). Experiment was conducted during kharief and rabi season of 2012-13 to 2013-14 at experimental field of division of vegetable science SKUAST-K Shalimar. Immediately after harvest of brinjal, fenugreek was grown as residual crop. At the inception of experiment, the soil was clay loam in texture, near to neutral in reaction and having low status of available N, medium K and high P. The experiment consisted of thirteen treatment combinations of integrated nutrient management practices for application of recommended dose of nutrients through different sources, viz. organic manures (FYM, poultry manure, vermicompost, sheep manure, dal weed) and inorganic fertilizers (N, P & K), applied alone or in various combinations. The experiment was carried out at the field of Nepal Polytechnic Institute (NPI), Bharatpur, Chitwan. The purpose of the research was to study the effect of different sources of organic manure in the growth and yield of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L) and the chemical properties of soil. The experiment was laid out by using 5 treatments and four replications in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). There was a total of 20 plots each of 2 x 2 m 2. The variety used was Malepatan-1. Poultry manure, goat manure, Farmyard Manure (FYM), mustard cake, and RDF, were tested as treatments. The soil of the experimental plot was acidic (pH 6.1) containing low total nitrogen (0.7), low available potassium (90.32), low available phosphorous (13.99), and medium organic manure (2.9). The data on vegetative parameters (plant height, number of leaves per plant, number of branches per plant), yield attributing parameters (number of flowers per plant, number of pods per branches, and yield), and soil chemical properties (total nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, pH and organic matter) were taken and entered in Ms-Excel which were then subjected of analysis of variance using Genstat and means were separated using DMRT. Out of 5 treatments treatment poultry (2.620kg/plot) was superior and significantly increased plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, number of pods, and yield. While mustard oil cake was ineffective to give optimum yield and yield attributing characters. The highest yield was obtained from treatment poultry manure i.e. (8.438 ton/ha) while the lowest yield was obtained from the treatment mustard oil cake (2.906 ton/ha).

A field experiment was conducted at the Soil Science Field Laboratory of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh during Aman season of 2011 to evaluate the effects of manures and fertilizers for maximizing the yield of BRRI dhan49. The experiment had six treatments, laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications. The treatments were T0 = Control, T1 = STB-CF (HYG), T2 = CD + STB-CF (HYG), T3 = PM + STB-CF (HYG), T4= CoM + STB-CF (HYG) and T5 = Farmers practice (FP). Organic manures including cowdung, poultry manure and compost were applied to the experimental plots @ 5, 3 and 5 t ha-1, respectively. The recommended dozes of N, P, K and S supplied from urea, TSP, MoP and gypsum were 90, 15, 60 and 15 kg ha-1, respectively. The experiment was conducted at Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh during the period from October 2011 to March 2012 to find out the response of broccoli to different organic manures. The experiment consisted four different organic manures viz. A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of organic manures and fertility levels on yield of carrot (Daucus carota L.) cv. Pusa Rudhira during Rabi season 2015-16 at Horticulture Farm, S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner (Jaipur) on loamy sand soil.
