A nonlinear prerelativistic approach to mathematical representation of vacuum electromagnetism
2013
This paper presents an alternative prerelativistic approach to the vacuum case of classical electrodynamics represented by vacuum Maxwell equations. Our view is based on the understanding that the corresponding differential equations should be dynamical in nature and the physical relations represented by them should be directly verifiable at least in principle, so they must represent local energy-momentum balance relations.
Equations of electrodynamics: Final essence of EM phenomena
Proceedings of the Joint INDS'11 & ISTET'11, 2011
Looking for the deeper essence of natural phenomena and minimal number of physical laws describing them, a hypothetical vacuum medium is stratified into structural layers, as the levels of observation of respective processes. Instead of a fluidic, the dielectric medium successfully explains all EM phenomena at least. More or less convincingly, inertia and gravitation are explained on EM bases, and the speed of light propagation, with respective reference frame, is conditioned by gravitation itself. The unification of physics is thus initialized, just on the advanced classical bases.
On the Pre-Metric Formulation and Nonlinearization of Charge-Free Electrodynamics
Journal of Geometry and Symmetry in Physics
This paper presents a coordinate free pre-metric formulation of charge free Maxwell-Minkowski electrodynamics, and of the developed by the authors non-linear Extended Electrodynamics. First we introduce some formal relations from multilinear algebra and differential geometry to be used further. Then we recall and appropriately modify the existing pre-metric formulation of linear charge free electrodynamics in pre-relativistic and relativistic forms as preparation to turn to corresponding pre-metric nonlinearization. After some preliminary examples and notes on nonlinearization, we motivate our view for existence and explicit formulation of time stable subsystems of the physical field objects considered. Section 5 presents the formal results of our approach on the pre-metric nonlinear formulations in static case, in time-dependent case, and in space-time formulation. In the Conclusion we give our general view on "why and how to nonlinearize". The Appendix gives a possible formal extension of our aproach to many subsystem field objects.
The theory of electromagnetic field motion 1. Introduction to the theory
This paper describes the fact of existence of paradoxes and internal contra-dictions of the electromagnetic field classical theory and the way of elimina-tion of such contradictions by more rigorous application of the relativity principle to electromagnetic phenomena and by creation of the consecutive relativistic electromagnetic theory. Here are presented general principles and requirements to any new physical theory and, in particular, to the rela-tivistic electromagnetic theory which is a subject matter in the present cycle of works.
Extended Electrodynamics: A Brief Review
2004
This paper presents a brief review of the newly developed \emph{Extended Electrodynamics}. The relativistic and non-relativistic approaches to the extension of Maxwell equations are considered briefly, and the further study is carried out in relativistic terms in Minkowski space-time. The non-linear vacuum solutions are considered and fully described. It is specially pointed out that solitary waves with various, in fact arbitrary, spatial structure and photon-like propagation properties exist. The {\it null} character of all non-linear vacuum solutions is established and extensively used further. Coordinate-free definitions are given to the important quantities {\it amplitude} and {\it phase}. The new quantity, named {\it scale factor}, is introduced and used as a criterion for availability of rotational component of propagation of some of the nonlinear, i.e. nonmaxwellian, vacuum solutions. The group structure properties of the nonlinear vacuum solutions are analyzed in some detail, showing explicitly the connection of the vacuum solutions with some complex valued functions. Connection-curvature interpretations are given and a special attention is paid to the curvature interpretation of the intrinsic rotational (spin) properties of some of the nonlinear solutions. Several approaches to coordinate-free local description and computation of the integral spin momentum are considered. Finally, a large family of nonvacuum spatial soliton-like solutions is explicitly written down, and a procedure to get (3+1) versions of the known (1+1) soliton solutions is obtained.
Modern Classical Electrodynamics and Electromagnetic Radiation - Vacuum Field Theory Aspects
The work is devoted to studying some new classical electrodynamics models of interacting charged point particles and related with them physical aspects. Based on the vacuum field theory no-geometry approach, developed in \cite{BPT,BPT1}, the Lagrangian and Hamiltonian reformulations of some alternative classical electrodynamics models are devised. A problem closely related to the radiation reaction force is analyzed aiming to explain the Wheeler and Feynman reaction radiation mechanism, well known as the absorption radiation theory, and strongly dependent on the Mach type interaction of a charged point particle in an ambient vacuum electromagnetic medium. There are discussed some relationships between this problem and the one derived within the context of the vacuum field theory approach. The R. \ Feynman's \textquotedblleft heretical\textquotedblright\ approach \cite{Dy1,Dy2} to deriving the Lorentz force based Maxwell electromagnetic equations is also revisited, its complete l...
It is a review of some new electrodynamics models of interacting charged point particles and related with them fundamental physical aspects, motivated by the classical A.M.Amper’s magnetic and H.Lorentz force laws, as well as O. Jefimenko electromagnetic field expressions. Based on the suitably devised vacuum field theory approach the Lagrangian and Hamiltonian reformulations of some alternative classical electrodynamics models are analyzed in details. The R.Feynman’s ”heretical” approach to deriving the Lorentz force based Maxwell electromagnetic equations is also revisited, its complete legacy is argued both by means of the geometric considerations and its deep relation with the devised vacuum field theory approach. Based on completely standard reasonings, I reanalyze the Feynman’s derivation from the classical Lagrangian and Hamiltonian points of view and construct its nontrivial relativistic generalization compatible with the vacuum field theory approach.

Relativistic electrodynamic, 2022
According to classical electrodynamics, electrodynamic systems can be described with Maxwell's laws in which charges move in electric and magnetic fields. In addition to classical and covariant electrodynamics, the laws can be described with relativistic electrodynamics. Relativistic electrodynamics gives a complete relativistic system that goes beyond the covariant electrodynamic equations of the Special Theory of Relativity. These covariant equations are referred to here as semi-relativistic for the distinction. The relativistic electrodynamics is based on a three-frame-system in which the lab-frame assigns speeds to source-charge and receiver-charge. Electrodynamics can be fully deduced on the basis of electric fields and Lorentz transformations between the three moving frames. The first half of this article explains the basic principles. The second half continues on the path taken in which the principle of relativistic electrodynamics is applied to all four of Maxwell's laws, including the induction laws of Lenz and Faraday. Based on relativistic electrodynamics, a number of theorems have been formulated. About maintaining electrical neutrality in current conductors in the lab-frame. And about the physical reality value of magnetic fields. And about the non-equivalence of electrodynamic systems. Current conductors are electrically neutral in the lab-frame despite the flow of electrons and consequently the transformation of negative field strength. Mirror-current explains neutrality. Positive holes flow opposite to electrons where positive field strength increases proportionally. Statement in Beyond-of Space is that flow of negative charge field in conductors is accompanied by equal flow of positive charge field in opposite directions. The flow of positive charge field can be explained physically with the displacement of positive holes in the atomic lattice. According to the Special Theory of Relativity, frames in electrodynamics are equivalent. Relativistic electrodynamics shows that receiver-charge and source-charge are not fully equivalent in the presence of a lab-frame. Equivalence is not valid in this three-frame-system. Statement in Beyond-of-Space is that the lab-frame influences the force relationship between receiver-charge and source-charge. In this three-frame-system, the lab-frame determines to which charge-frame the movement can be attributed. The moving frame undergoes transformation in space and time. For more than a century there has been ongoing debate about the structure of the magnetic field that leads to controversies about units and notations of H and B fields. The conclusion can be drawn on the basis of relativistic electrodynamics that the magnetic B field is a mathematical artifact. In classical electrodynamics, the magnetic B field is directly linked to the moving charge in, for example current conductors. The relativistic electrodynamics show that the magnetic field B can only arise in interaction with other charges in the electric source field.
