Development of local wisdom culture tourism: Case in north sulawesi province, Indonesia

The purpose of this research is to analyse tourism based on culture and local wisdom of the people of the Talaud Islands Regency which is packaged in the form of the Madulu'u'tonna festival as a ritual of rejecting reinforcements. The scope of this research is done with a case study. The data collection method in this study used qualitative analysis with an ethnographic approach as part of a qualitative approach, including direct observation at the research location in Talaud Islands Regency, especially the people of Melonguane Village. The findings in this study are that the development of cultural tourism of local wisdom Mandullu'u'tonna of the people of the Talaud Archipelago district of North Sulawesi province is the self-awareness of the local community to be able to "live a normal/decent life in the present" and is not engineered by other parties, such as the government and the tourism industry. With that, the people of Talaud Islands Regency want to maintain their traditional identity and at the same time want to maintain their current real life through tourism. Thus there is a connection between past and present traditions and modernity, local communities and global communities (tourism/tourists) in the context of developing cultural tourism through Madulu'u'tonna local wisdom.
Cultural Tourism Based on Local Wisdom: Potential, Development Approach and Policy Response

The aim of this research is to describe the potential, development approach and policy response for developing the cultural tourism based on the local wisdom in Kampung Adat Urug. Firstly, the potentials of local wisdom developed as cultural tourism include hereditary leadership, custom houses, and customary ceremonies. Secondly, the development of cultural tourism based on local wisdom needs partnership among the public and private sectors and people/community and harnesses collaboration among various stakeholders of three sectors to succeed the local wisdom-based cultural tourism. Thirdly, the policy response to develop the cultural tourism based on the local wisdom is by improving the potentials of local wisdom developed as cultural tourism, strengthening the institutional support, stipulating an integrated part of tourism destination system, and providing the e-tourism information.

Indonesia is a country that has an area with a thick and unique culture. The cultural uniqueness of each region is also a tourist attraction so that there are many villages that have turned into tourist villages. In this case, many tourist villages have lost their cultural values and identity. This study will examine and examine the local cultural wisdom in the Penglipuran Traditional Village which is a bastion of cultural resilience in tourism development and activities. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach to examine what attributes can be cultural resilience in cultural tourism villages. The results obtained are the need for customary institutions, principles of life, strict customary rules, nature conservation and infrastructure, so that the culture in tourist villages can survive in the midst of tourism activities.

As one of the Special Region of Yogyakarta districts, Mangunan has many tourism potentials, from artistic and cultural attractions, natural beauty, and human resources. It is a pity if the community does not appropriately use it. The district government must take advantage of its potential as a community representative and be trusted as a policymaker. This study aims to determine how the communication patterns carried out by the district government to the community in managing village tourism potential. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. This study uses data collection methods with structured interviews by conducting interviews with the district government as policymakers and three tourism object managers. For the data analysis technique, the Grounded approach offered by Miles and Huberman and the theory of message dissemination patterns by Guetzkow were used. The results of this study indicate that the communication pattern carried out by the Mangunan District government uses a simultaneous message distribution pattern, utilizing the district government to convey messages or information directly to tourism actors through regular face-to-face meetings and the WhatsApp chat application.

Sustainable tourism is a concept that is aspired to be realized in the tourism industry so that natural and cultural resources can be preserved and enjoyed for generations to come. Kampung Banceuy is one of the traditional villages that has various values of local wisdom which is still preserved today and is able to attract many tourists. Local Wisdom to Creative Cultural Tourism Activity

This research is an experimental research survey with the purpose of studying the cultural tourism activity originated from "local wisdom" within Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province in Thailand to be applied as a creative cultural tourism activity. The population of this study comprises 305 Thai and foreign tourists, divided into two groups, namely, 205 tourists as a sampling survey group and 100 tourists as an experimental group. The research tools used are a questionnaire and designed satisfaction assessment. The data were analyzed through the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation test, F-test, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the statistical analysis program. The study showed that the appropriate activities applied from a local wisdom chosen by tourists to be studied were 10 from 20 activities through the questionnaire for ranking the piquancy of each activity from the tourist group. All the 10 activities were studied in this experimental research within the sampling group which consists of Thai and foreign tourists by allowing them to practice in a real situation and assessing their satisfaction in each activity. The assessment reveals that these 10 activities were considered to be interesting and the satisfaction level was extremely high, indicating that the activity applied from the local wisdom studied in this research is appropriate to be used as a creative cultural tourism activity in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province later in the future.
Tourism world is in its developing in every country in the world.Because, tourism itself give significant impacts for society.Bali island, is an island in Indonesia which has abundantb beautiful landscape and culture. Those potentials are the tourism booster to sustain the tourism sector.The largest administration area in Balli province is Tabanan regency that has 10 subdistrics. But, the Gianyar regency has became a tourist attraction in Gianyar regency. Gianyar regency is one of area in Bali which has fanatic society to their own culture. On the other hand, actually globalization era can not be avoided and it is improving time by time. So, the authors would like to describe and explain social capital functions in preserving the culture and exploring the tourism potentials. This research is using experience approach by qualitative method. The research results are: first, globalization era has no any impact for Gianyar society. In case, Ubud (one of area in Gianyar) is a center of tourism but in Padang Tegal village has society who always obey to religion. Second,the society in Gianyar is not only obey to their local norm but also they help their regency to explore their own tourism landscapes. Third,There are many strategies from society collaborate with government to preserve the landscape. Fourth, involving the young generation in preserving their own local culture. Fifth, Tri Hita Karana is the core principal in their social life. So, can be concluded that social capital has high role in preserving the culture and exploring the tourism. tourism
