The role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in encouraging the acceleration of economic growth is very important. This sector must continue to be upgraded and active in order to advance and compete. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the development of SME such as (SME manpower, SME Production Value, number of SME units, and SME investment) on the GRDP of the Province of NTB from 2010 to 2019. This study used quantitative methods. The research location was in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara. Data collection techniques used were literature studies and documentation. Simultaneously, the results of this study indicated that manpower, production value, number of units, and investment value of SME had positive effects on the growth of GRDP of the Province of NTB. Partially, the manpower, number of Small and Medium Enterprises variables showed insignificant effect, while the variables of production value and investment value showed significant results. The results of the study indicate that it is necessary to increase investment to increase the growth of gross regional domestic product and to pay more attention to the issue of labor quality. The purpose of this study to determine whether SMEs have a role to economic growth and how big the role of SMEs to economic growth in Indonesia. Types of data used are time series data i.e SMEs data and Economic growth data from year 2003 until 2018 in Indonesia.Tool of analyze data used in this research is multiple linear regression. Small industries are growing rapidly in business units and employment, but are still very low contributing to GDP compared to medium and large industries with a smaller share of business units and labor. This has an impact on the widening gap in labor productivity between small industries and large industries and competitiveness in both domestic and global markets. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of micro, small and medium scale (MSMEs) growth on Indonesian economy. The data has been taken from the data secunder of Biro Pusat Statistik (BPS) and Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM (Kemenkop UKM). The data analyze using regression analyze to determine the role of micro, small and medium scale (MSMEs) growth on Indonesian economy. The results show that a micro, small and medium scale (MSMEs) growth on Indonesian economy have a role but does not have much impact because there are a lot of a factors which have an impact on Indonesian Economy. GRDP plays an important role in the economic growth of a region. The high rate of GRDP can encourage regional growth and development. The growth of cities and their surrounding areas is closely linked to economic change, especially as it can create opportunities for more productive jobs that can contribute to attracting foreign trade and investment. The industrial sector is one of the largest contributors to GRDP in Bali after the trade sector and the banking sector and other financial institutions. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are critical drivers of economic growth, especially in developing nations like Indonesia. This study focuses on the specific case of Kediri Residency, using 2018 data from the Central Bureau of Statistics of East Java Province to uncover insights for sustainable local economic development. Our methodology involved data acquisition, parsing, mining, filtering, and representation/ interaction. This process yielded a dataset of 168 data points, providing a nuanced view of MSMEs in Kediri Residency. Our analysis highlighted significant trends. Kediri Regency, for example, excelled in the Food and Beverage Industry (270 MSMEs) and Wood Industry (260 MSMEs). Blitar Regency thrived in the Wood Industry (235 MSMEs) and the Food and Beverage Industry (230 MSMEs). Tulungagung Regency showed strength in the Wood Industry (219 MSMEs). These findings have strategic implications for local economic development, such as sectoral strengthening, enhancing competitiveness, forming business clusters, and tailoring policies to MSMEs' unique needs. Comparing Kediri City to Kediri Regency and Blitar City to Blitar Regency revealed disparities and opportunities, highlighting the role of local policies and infrastructure in MSME development. In conclusion, our research provides actionable insights to formulate policies, develop infrastructure, improve financing access, and enhance skills training programs. These actions will catalyze MSME growth, promoting regional economic development and stability.
THE ROLE OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SMES) IN IMPROVING THE LOCAL ECONOMIC GROWTH

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have a great contribution to the economic growth in Indonesia both macro and micro. Economic growth in west Sumatra exceeded the national economy in 2015 up to 5.46% while the national economic only 4.71%. In 2016, economic growth in West Sumatra only grew about 4.81%. Despite the decline of economic growth, SMEs remain a factor supporting the economic growth in West Sumatra. This study was conducted to determine the extent to which the role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in their contribution to the economy of local communities in West Sumatra. This study was empirically examining the role of SMEs in improving the economy of local communities by using qualitative methods. The research result explained that SMEs have already given a big share in improving the local people's economy due to most of the people of West Sumatera have an entrepreneurial spirit that have been ingrained hereditarily which has become the structure root of the original culture of the local economy.
Increasing the Regional Economic Groth through Small and Medium Entreprises

This study aimed to analyze the influence of regional revenue, capital expenditures, labor and small and medium enterprises towards the regional economic growth in the Regencies in Sulawesi Island. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. Based on the results of the panel data analysis using EViews 8.0 program processing tools, the results indicate that in partial local revenue, capital expenditures, labor, small and medium enterprises have significant positive effect on regional economic growth in the Regency/City of the island of Sulawesi. Another conclusion of the results in this research are feasible estimated regression model is used to explain the economic growth of the Regency/City of the island of Sulawesi.
