The study aimed to examine the role of working environment, pay and promotion, job security, level of fairness, relationship with coworkers and relationship with supervisor on the job satisfaction of the employees. Survey based data was collected from 183 respondents working in the software sector. Regression analysis was used to test the impact of the independent variables of the study on the job satisfaction. The results of the research revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship between working environment, pay and promotion, job security, and level of fairness and the job satisfaction. This implies that employees who are having good working environment, have reasonable and equitable pay and promotion, have higher job security, and are treated fairly, will have higher level of job satisfaction and these employees

Job satisfaction describes how pleased an individual is with his or her job. The happiness people find in their job, the more satisfied they are said to be. The blooming Indian economy has helped the IT sector to maintain its competition in the global market. Personnel with high job satisfaction lead to an advancement in work quality and productivity, and leads to satisfied loyal customers. Analysis of Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction of the Employees in Public and Private Sector
India. The Survey methods were used in public and private sector firms to find out the taxonomy of job satisfaction. The important factors that are taken into consideration are incentives and hours of work, Management (Boss) & Colleagues, Availability of other better opportunities, Future prospect (promotion and job security), Difficulty of job (manually tiring, forceful overtime), Job content and interest and Prestige. AfterPost liberalization Indian economy has seen an exponential growth in GDP (approx. seven folds from 1991) and since then job market in India has been growing rapidly. The importance of job satisfaction has been supported by surveys conducted on 500 employees from different sectors in India and classified according to age, gender and region. This paper studies seven summary variables measuring job satisfaction among workers from different sectors of Indian job market.The seven factors at the end have been used to find out the answer for "who has got the good jobs" and how can the employee job satisfaction improved in a rapidly growing economy like in India. Frequency distribution analysis shows that job satisfaction is strongly correlated with all the job quality measures.

One of the most pressing problem facing organizations today is how to motivate employees to work more productively and to increase their feelings of satisfaction, involvement, and commitment. All around us we see examples of shoddy and imperfect work in products. This paper aims at studying the factors which are contributing towards employee job satisfaction. The factors which are the probable causes behind employee job satisfaction can be broadly divided into three broad categories: Behavioral, organizational and environmental factors. This report focuses on all of these categories and attempts to find the relation between these factors and employee job satisfaction.

Although many studies have been conducted on job satisfaction in various sectors, there is a lack of research investigating the factors affecting job satisfaction of employees working for Information Technology (IT) companies in India. The purpose of this study is to examine the influences affecting job satisfaction of employees working for IT companies in India. The significance of this study lies in the fact that the results can help HR managers, sourcing and recruitment managers, executive teams,and other managers in offshore IT companies to understand the factors that impact job satisfaction. Data was collected from a sample of IT professionals working for various offshore IT companies located in India. This study seeks to contribute to the existing literature about the factors affecting employee job satisfaction in IT companies. This study will add to the knowledge of HR management, job satisfaction in IT companies.

Many organizations today are placing greater emphasis on talent retention to sustain their competitive advantage and keeping their employees highly satisfied and motivated. The purpose of this observational and interview based study is to understand the level of job satisfaction the employees working in Jeyamalli Industries, SIPCOT, Ranipet had and the parameters that influenced it. Long-term career progression, engagement activities, welfare activities and motivation has had a positive influence on the employees. However there is room for much improvement on areas such as technical and management related training, employee skill development, work safety measures and work environment.
An organization is able to achieve success when the workforce involved will be able to acquire satisfaction from the performance of job and other associated factors. Motivational factors were perceived as the most important among employees in the service sector. Organizations across the world consider their human resource as a central core of the business and continuously increase the level of their employee's motivation. Hence, the aim of the research paper is to identify and analyze important motivational factors among employees working in the IT sector. The research is based on quantitative data, Questionnaire were distributed to 250 employees working in the IT companies of Hyderabad to identify motivational factors affecting job satisfaction of employees. The respondents were asked to evaluate 10 motivational factors on a 5-point likert scale. The research findings indicate that relationship with peers, compensation, work-life balance and flexible work arrangement are the most important motivational factors among employees in the IT sector. It is suggested that employees' motivation primarily originate from extrinsic sources. The research findings help to gain a better understanding and insight into what drives employees' motivation and It enables HR management to adopt more focused approach towards motivating employees, where motivational strategies can be better designed to address employees' specific motivational needs.

Job satisfaction is an emotional affective personal response as a result of his ‘estimation of the degree to which some fact of job reality is congruent or incongruent with his values’. The aim of this paper is to study investigates that the factors influencing Job Satisfaction with special reference to BSNL, three different Secondary Switching Areas (SSA), the names of the SSAs are Trichy, Thanjavur and Madurai SSA. Each SSA carried 100 samples by Stratified Random Sampling methods. For conducting this research a sample of 300 employees taking in BSNL, three SSAs. The JDI scale included Work, Supervision, Pay, Promotions, and Co-worker. Job satisfaction may be defined as a pleasurable positive emotional state resulting from the appraisal of one’s job or job experiences. From the study, the researcher found that work, pay, promotion, supervision and coworkers are the factors determine the job satisfaction. Some important implications for future research are also derived from the study

Job satisfaction plays a vital part in employee’s performance, increasing, morale and productivity. This research study aims to figure out the working environment of BHEL, Bhopal toward employees job satisfaction, initiatives taken by the manage-ment and their effect on the performance of employees. Chi square test is applied to check the authenticity of data given by the respondents (300 employees). Findings suggest that factors responsible for job satisfaction have been identified viz.-: supportive colleagues, conducive working conditions, mentally challenging work and equitable rewards.
