Student Satisfaction toward Quality of Online Learning in Indonesian Higher Education During the Covid-19 Pandemic

This study aims to measure the level of student satisfaction with online learning services in higher education. The research method used is a survey, it is to meet the data needs on a large scale. The study population was students of higher education at the undergraduate level from 26 universities. Samples were taken randomly with due observance of campus representatives from all regions of Indonesia (N = 224). The data collection tool used an online learning satisfaction questionnaire that was developed and validated. The questionnaire contains 19 statements. The data analysis used was descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of data processing showed a very satisfying level of 19%, 41% satisfied, 30% dissatisfied, and 10% very dissatisfied. Several factors causing dissatisfaction include limited internet access, and low lecturer's attachment and guidance. The findings are expected to be input to higher education leaders and lecturers in order to improve the quality of online learning services according to the needs of students.

This research aims to find out how effect of internet utilization, learning media, and satisfaction level on online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic in case study of Management Students, Universitas Prima Indonesia. Researchers use this type of quantitative research. The population in this study were Management Students in semester 2 and 4 in the morning at Universitas Prima Indonesia. Semester 2 there are 7 classes with a total of 232 students, while in semester 4 there are 10 classes with a total of 350 students, so the total population of semesters 2 and 4 is 582 students. The sample used after the calculation using the Slovin formula is 237 samples from 582 populations. Multiple linear regression test consists of partial test (t), simultaneous test (F), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of partial test (t) show that internet utilization has significant effect on online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic in case study of Management Students, Universitas Prima Indonesia. Learning media has significant effect on online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic in case study of Management Students, Universitas Prima Indonesia. Satisfaction level has significant effect on online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic in case study of Management Students, Universitas Prima Indonesia. The results of simultaneous test (F) show that internet utilization, learning media, and satisfaction level have significant effect on online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic in case study of Management Students, Universitas Prima Indonesia. The results of the coefficient of determination test (R2) show coefficient value is 0.205. This value means that internet utilization, learning media, and satisfaction level effect on online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic in case study of Management Students, Universitas Prima Indonesia by 20.5%. While 79.5% is influence by variables outside this study.

Impact of online classes on the satisfaction and performance of students during the pandemic period of COVID 19

The aim of the study is to identify the factors affecting students' satisfaction and performance regarding online classes during the pandemic period of COVID-19 and to establish the relationship between these variables. The study is quantitative in nature, and the data were collected from 544 respondents through online survey who were studying the business management (B.B.A or M.B.A) or hotel management courses in Indian universities. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the proposed hypotheses. The results show that four independent factors used in the study viz. quality of instructor, course design, prompt feedback, and expectation of students positively impact students' satisfaction and further student's satisfaction positively impact students' performance. For educational management, these four factors are essential to have a high level of satisfaction and performance for online courses. This study is being conducted during the epidemic period of COVID-19 to check the effect of online teaching on students' performance.

Evaluation of the Quality of Online Learning during the Covid-19 post Pandemic: An Empirical Study at Indonesian University

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of system quality on online learning user satisfaction, the effect of information quality on online learning user satisfaction, the effect of service quality on online learning user satisfaction. This research uses quantitative methods. The instrument used in the quantitative method is an online questionnaire through social media given to university students in Indonesia. The research object was students using the e-learning system, a total of 670 students who were determined by the simple random sampling method. The questionnaire was designed in the form of questions using a Likert scale of 1 to 7. After the distribution of the instrument was carried out, then analysis of the data was obtained using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 3.0 software tool to determine validity, reliability and hypothesis testing. The results of this study are quality the system has a positive and significant effect on online learning user satisfaction, the quality of information has a positive and significant effect on online learning user satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on online learning user satisfaction.

The Survey on Students’ Satisfaction Degree towards Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic Condition

The present study aimed at describing the satisfaction level of the university students in online learning at STKIP Muhammadiyah Barru during the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The research participants were 30 students of the Guidance and Counseling study program in the first semester on the academic year of 2021/2022. To collect data, researchers distributed questionnaire items to participants via Google forms, then analyzed the data qualitatively. The result of students’ responses to the questionnaire showed that in overall, 14 students (46.7%) of Guidance and Counseling Study Program at STKIP Muhammadiyah Barru were satisfied with the implementation of online learning organized by the campus, 10 other students (33.3%) stated that they were very satisfied, although there were also a small number namely 6 students (20%) expressed dissatisfaction. This study aims to determine student satisfaction with online learning at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta Indonesia. In this study, the researchers developed new variables related to student satisfaction in online learning, such as student commitment, student independence, parental support, main source of support for online learning, student readiness, creative and innovative learning and effectiveness and behavioral intentions. The methodology used is a quantitative research method, with measurement and analysis using the smart-PLS application. The population in this study was all students of the UIN RMS Surakarta education faculty. The results of this study show that there were 412 respondents who filled out the questionnaire. After being processed using Smart-PLS there were three variables that were accepted: first, effectiveness has a significant effect on student satisfaction in online learning, second, student commitment has a significant effect on student satisfaction in online learning and third, student satisfaction has a significant effect on the behavioral intentions of students in online learning.

Students’ Satisfaction Towards Online Learning in a Public University in Malaysia During COVID-19 Pandemic

Most universities have implemented an online learning system to ensure that students, particularly those who are pursuing advanced degrees, can continue their education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Converting from traditional face-to-face classes to online mode is not a simple process. Students must adapt to the rapid changes and workload, which are mandatory for them to participate in. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that contribute to students' satisfaction with online learning, specifically on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social interaction, social presence and motivation. A quantitative study was conducted on 71 postgraduate coursework students at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu to determine the relationship between online learning satisfaction and the five variables. The findings indicated that only perceived ease of use and motivation could enhance online learning satisfaction. The study discovered that the majority of students were satisfied with online learning due to the convenience of attending such classes and their motivation to participate in those classes. Further research is recommended to focus on improving online education through reduction of stress and depression, particularly during pandemics.

Satisfaction on Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic: Perspective of Malaysian students

This study investigated the determinants of students’ satisfaction with their online learning experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data was collected among 241 undergraduates enrolled in information management from a selected universities in Malaysia. The Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) results revealed that the independent variables, namely course design and digital resources, influenced students’ satisfaction with their new online learning experience. The findings have several implications for developing and maintaining practical and student-friendly online learning spaces in higher education. Online Learning Satisfaction in Higher Education Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic

Regarding the COVID 19 pandemic, the process should be analyzed very well in order to realize effective online education practices possessing high level communication and interaction in higher education. In this respect in this study, initially it is aimed to determine the satisfaction levels of higher education students towards online education during the pandemic process that affects the whole world and then to reveal the changes of these levels according to the variables such as gender, discipline, education level and grade level. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used in the study. The sample of the study consists of 13447 university students studying online in different faculties of Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa in the fall semester of 2020-2021. According to the results, the students' satisfaction with online education was at a moderate level. In addition, it was observed that students preferred Zoom from the synchronous platforms the most and Canvas from the asynchronous platforms in the online education process. On the other hand, satisfaction levels of female students differ significantly from male students, Science and Engineering and Social Sciences students were more satisfied with the process than the Medicine and Health Sciences students. 6th grade students' satisfaction with the process was higher than other grade levels, and graduate students' satisfaction differed significantly from undergraduate and associate degree students. Finally, the significant differences for all variables were at a low effect level. In the research, various suggestions were made for educators and future studies in order to create more effective online learning environments.
