Enhancing the Satisfaction of Consumers of Tourism Services, a Core Element of the Marketing Polices
IBIMA Business Review Journal, 2010
Consumer's satisfaction is vital for the tourism companies. Leaving aside the fact that it is associated by the marketing specialists with the outcome of the purchasing and consumption processes, with consumers' loyalty and with company profitability, the satisfaction degree of the tourism services consumers derives from the highest wishes, of accomplishing the cultural, artistic needs of communion with the nature, of rest, relaxation, of being beside those who share the same hobbies with us. This is why, both the producers, the tourism services providers, and the suppliers are particularly interested in the way in which the clients perceive the overall tourism product, but also each of the services encompassed by the service package. The exact evaluation of the clients' satisfaction has become a central element of the marketing policies, next to the quality policy. The enhancement of the satisfaction stands at the basis of the loyalty raising policies and aims the clients, but also the employees, the shareholders and the suppliers. The paper presents the results of the research performed between 01.01.2010 and 01.09.2010. The matter under study consists of two distinct samples: 180 clients chosen randomly of the data bank held by 3 companies in the ϐield of tourism (hotel, restaurant and tourism agency) and a sample of 50 employees, who are employees with the 3 analysed companies, residing in Romania, in the N-E region. The results reflect the concern for the thorough evaluation of the consumer's satisfaction and its enhancement. Our study emphasises the importance of tourism services in Romania NorthEast , in order to absorb labour force and to ensure consumers' high satisfaction, for leisure time and for refill "the batteries" for working activities.
Acta geographica Slovenica, 2015
In the context of Romania's transition to the market economy after the communism collapse, and the accession in EU, the study aims to analyse characteristics of tourism changes in the Carpathian destinations by correlation with the domestic visitors' satisfaction for tourist services and new forms of tourism by empirical field observations, and statistical analysis used to test the level of satisfaction for Carpathian tourism. The results show an increase of tourist demand for the Carpathian destinations in the framework of tourist establishments' structure changes, the spreading of agri-tourism, a need for improvement of accommodation services quality according to the visitors' profile. Tourism development, revealed by visitors' flows, has some similarities with the perception of tourists. The tourists' views can, with several limits, be considered as a barometer in tourism research and a useful instrument in building tourism offers.
Tourism has got good development resources in Romania and the recent history comes to prove it. There is also enough criticism of the current development of this sector. Unfortunately, much of this criticism still bases on a several decade long myth, instead of realities. And this is the idea of the "so beautiful country", of which's beautifulness is not properly put into value by incompetent managers, decision-makers and politicians. In reality, the Romanian tourism is, first, overpassed by othercountry's industries in a healthy context of modern economic development. Second, it keeps a strong summer-season orientation meking it less competitive against neighbouring tourist areas like the ones of the Adriatic and Mediteranean seas. Third, the tourist activity faces serious limits of extension, when demand does not exceed supply on a verry market oriented activity (as tourism is, by its nature), so the investment risk degree stays high enough. Finally, tourism as as market oriented, as seasonal and risky as agriculture, and Romania could not afford political priorities on such a sector. 1. The service sector and tourism component The last years of the twentieth century and the ones of the new century obviously belong to the third economic sector, meaning the one of services, as distinct from both product extraction (primary sector, see the raw materials) and productive transformation (secondary sector, see the final goods). So, let us consider two more aspects besides such an unanimous view on this topic. First, there is a conceptual aspect: let us notice the double statistic classifications in ANNEX 1, as for the service activity components. In other words, whereas the primary and secondary economic sectors are able to keep a unique classification as international, basing on the same final good items, the third sector was born and developed in diverse ways in different countries. The other aspect of the service sector, as resulting from our below developed statistics, consists in the distinction between the domestic (home) market and the foreign tourists flows, as not only for the specific economic openess, but equally for the specific linkage between these two. Moreover, the two classifications differenciation also devolves from the criterion of assimiation of some service
CONSIDERATIONS ON TOURIST MARKETING THEORY AND PRACTICE IN ROMANIA
Tourism marketing as a distinct field of marketing services has been and will certainly be a discipline that will be studied in greater depth by experts in this field of great interest. Tourist destinations lead a fierce battle to capture and maintain consumer interest in tourism products and services. For this reason tourist destinations and tourist entities operating in the tourism market should pay special attention to tourism marketing mix elements (product, price, distribution, promotion, people, physical evidence, processes). A key role in assessing the tourism services offered by a certain tourist destination lies with the universities that have as "task" superior human resource training in the tourism sector. This specific element of the tourism marketing mix has a key role in creating the image of tourist destinations.

Great attention was paid to the key drivers for the tourism market, analysing the country’s position in international ranking regarding the travel and tourism competitiveness.

In the medium and long term, priorities in the development of tourism aim to develop a complex tourist offer, making the most of the natural and anthropogenic resources existing in connection with the preservation of the environment and the heritage. On the long run, it will contribute to raising the living standards of the population, especially social categories with lower chances of reintegration into the labour market (people made redundant in industry, elderly people etc.). Implementation of the strategy at regional level must be achieved through an active partnership between Romanian public authorities, economic agents and private investors, with the involvement of the federation of employers in the sector and of the professional associations.

Strategy Development and Promotion of Tourism in Romania
International Journal of New Technology and Research, 2019
Europe is the world's favorite tourist destination. Tourism plays an essential role in the development of many European regions, especially the less developed regions, due to its considerable potential for contagion and job creation, especially among young people. Tourism has also shown significant resilience, steadily rising during the recent crisis. The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) supports the competitiveness, sustainability and quality of tourism at regional and local level. Tourism is undoubtedly closely linked to the use and development of natural, historical and cultural capital, and to the attractiveness of cities and regions as living, working and leisure activities. At the same time, it is closely related to the development, innovation and diversification of visitors' products and services. The launch of a cultural tourism business requires funding, which can be from its own resources or can be obtained from another. When a company generates financing from its own sources, ie from its own assets, from its own profits, we call it an internal source of funding.
