The study aimed to probe the effect of solving mathematical problems through using Mobile Learning (ML) on the seventh grade students' ability to solve them in Jordan. The study sample consisted of fifty-four (54) students of seventh basic grade in Zarqa in Jordan who were divided into two groups randomly: experimental group which included twenty-six (26) students who were taught through using mobile learning methodology and control group which consisted of twenty-eight (28) students who were taught through using the traditional ways of teaching. Mathematical problem solving test were prepared which were verified to check their validity and reliability. In general, the results related to problem solving and its dimensions revealed the understanding and reading of the problem, setting forth a plan for solving and implementing it as well as revising the solution). The students of the experimental group were taught by using mobile learning methodology were more excellent than their counterparts in the control group who were taught through using traditional teaching.

The development of information technology plays an essential role in supporting learning activities in all subjects, including mathematics. In mathematics learning, teachers usually use conventional media, such as printed textbooks and paper-based students' worksheets. Regarding this issue, an innovation of mathematics learning media based on information technology is needed to be developed. Therefore, this study aims to design learning media based on mobile learning. This study is a research and development (R&D) study applying the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). This study's subjects are students in the tenth grade of a private vocational high school in Central Java, Indonesia. The results of this study can be described as follows: 1) the rating of media experts with an average value of 67.5 is included in the excellent category; 2) the material experts' assessment with an average score of 75 is included in the excellent category; 3) the students' evaluation with an average grade of 70,119 is included in the excellent category. The assessment was obtained from the SUS (System Usability Scale) questionnaire. Moreover, based on the analysis of a pre-experimental design, it can be concluded the media improve students' scores in the topic of matrix operations.
Development of a Java-based Mobile application for mathematics learning
In primary education, a variety of teaching methods, such as enhanced and discovery learning, have had a significant influence on student achievement, particularly in mathematics. Several studies have discussed the positive effects of the appropriate use of technology in the classroom on student achievement. The main purpose of the current study was to determine the effects of a mobile application on student achievement in a primary school mathematics course in Saudi Arabia. Java was used in the development of the application. The study adopted a quasi-experimental design. The sample comprised 40 students from the Unaizah International School. The data collection instrument was a test in a mathematics course. The test had a reliability of >0.84. The pre-and post-test scores were analyzed with a t-test, which was used to examine the two null hypotheses at the 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that mobile applications are more effective than traditional methods for improving student outcomes in mathematics. This indicates the need for support to be provided for such activities in primary school classes. The results further indicate the effectiveness of this current application in developing students' cognitive skills and improving their mathematical abilities.

The role of teachers is crucial to the success of mathematics learning. One of the learning indicator is characterized by the students' improved mathematical proficiency. In order to increase that, it is necessary to improve the teacher's mathematical skills first. For that, it needs an innovative way to get teachers close to easily accessible learning resources through technology. The technology can facilitate teachers to access learning resources anytime and anywhere. The appropriate information technology is mobile learning. Innovations that can make teachers easy to access learning resources are mobile applications that can be accessed anytime and anywhere either online or offline. The essence of learning mathematics is the ability to solve problems. This study aims to develop appropriate interactive multimedia in the class VIII circle material, in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The test subjects were the students of State Junior High School 15 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques used were tests and questionnaires, with data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results of the research obtained interactive multimedia on circle material developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Firebase Realtime Database, JSON, GeoGebra, Scratch, MathJax, and Netlify technologies. The developed multimedia is declared valid in terms of material, media, practical, and effective. Thus, this interactive multimedia is suitable for use for circle learning in class VIII.

This study aimed to evaluate the developed Mathematics Online Mobile Interactive Material (MOMIM) for Grade 10 students in San Jose National High School, Antipolo City during S.Y. 2022-2023. The developed interactive material was evaluated by the fifteen (15) experts consist of Mathematics Master teachers and ICT coordinators, and fifteen (15) Mathematics teachers from San Jose National High School, Division of Antipolo City. The finding showed that the Mathematics teachers and expert respondents both agreed that the developed MOMIM (Mathematics Online Mobile Interactive Material) had Very High Acceptability with regard to pedagogical aspects, quality of content, technical aspect, and practice/ assessment/ feedback, with a grand weighted mean of 3.79 and 3.78, respectively. In addition, there was no significant difference between the evaluations of the two groups of respondents on the developed MOMIM (Mathematics Online Mobile Interactive Material). The respondents commented that the material was properly sequenced, used manipulative data, very enjoyable and fun to play, and was good for the review and recall of the students. Meanwhile, they suggested to include questions focusing on the skills to be developed by the non-numerates, provide more exercises, and improve the font size.
