The objectives of this research are to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the structure and economic growth of Bali and analyzing the impact of Covid-19 on the Indonesian economy. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is not only on public health but also has an impact on economic well-being state to the community economy. The Covid-19 pandemic, which started in 2020, significantly reduced the number of foreign visitors to Bali and Indonesia. Tourism-related industries like various service industries, agriculture, and small and medium-sized businesses saw a decline in demand, which was followed by a reduction in added value. Analysis of the Covid-19 pandemic's effects on Bali's and Indonesia's economies is the study's main goal. The research locations are in the Provinces of Bali and Indonesia, using secondary data source from BPS Bali and BPS RI. The data analysis method used descriptive statistics, comparison methods before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, and qualitative descriptive. The results of the research was found that impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 causing the Balinese economy to contract as deep as -9.31% compared to Bali economic growth 2019. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Indonesian economy, decreased Indonesia's economic growth in 2020 only contracted -2.07% compared to 2019. The novel finding of this study is that while both Bali and Indonesia's economic growth have been negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, Bali's economic growth has been negatively impacted more severely.

The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on the Tourism Sector in Indonesia

The tourism is one of the strategic sectors and has an important role as a source of foreign exchange and encourages national economic growth. Since March 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has begun to enter Indonesia, and the cumulative infection curve has not sloped, and is still increasing exponentially until now. Leading Sectors that Drive the Economy of Bali during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the economy of Indonesia has weakened and contracted, although currently, the economy has recovered from it. The economy of Bali has experienced its lowest growth of all time. This is due to the huge impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism in Bali, which is its economic locomotive. This research aims to analyze the potential sectors that can be developed by each regency and city in Bali to boost its economic recovery. The research used the LQ and overlay methods. The results of the research show that the sectors directly related to tourism have experienced contraction. Meanwhile, the sector that has progressed considerably and becomes a leading one during the current pandemic is the primary sector. Therefore, the Government of Bali needs to carry out an economic structural transformation, so that the economy will be stabilized and emerge stronger against various internal and external shocks.

Assessing the impact of COVID-19 on the Indonesian tourism industry

Tourism plays a significant role in the economic development of Indonesia. Aside from being a source of revenue, tourism creates employment opportunities and promotes the hospitality industry. However, the emergence of COVID-19 has adversely implicated on tourism in Indonesia, as international travel restrictions have been imposed by many countries. Eight months of being hit by the Covid-19 Pandemic made Indonesia's economic conditions battered. Indonesia's economic growth in the second quarter of 2020 contracted considerably up to-5.32 percent. Indonesia is estimated to have lost foreign exchange of 14.5-15.8 billion USD due to a decrease in foreign tourist arrivals. This downturn is because the tourism sector relies heavily on human movement. The Association of Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants in South Sulawesi stated that the hotel and restaurant lines were most affected during the Covid-19 Pandemic. It was recorded that 237 companies experienced a decline in performance, as many as 10,091 workers at home, and 186 had been dismissed from work in South Sulawesi.

Almost all countries suffer from The Covid 19 pandemic which has emerged since late 2019. This pandemic has greatly impacted the nation's economic growth. Indonesia is also one of many nations with high cases of COVID 19 victims which have experienced the decline of economic growth. Economic growth is also a measure of the economic performance of a nation's community, the more productive the people in that nation than the higher the economic growth of the nation will be. Economic growth will be obtained from the increase of GDP from year to year. This study has an objective to analyze economic growth in Indonesia which happened before COVID 19 in 2019 until the year 2021 in which this pandemic has still given its economic impact on the nation. Indonesia's economic growth in 2019 was 5.03%, in 2020 was-2.20% and in 2021 the 2 nd Quarter has reached 7.07%.

Covid-19 has been endemic since the end of 2019 in Wuhan, China and spread to become a global pandemic throughout 2020. The development of the Covid-19 pandemic has become a new threat, not only for physical health, but also for the mental health of the world community. In Indonesia, the Covid-19 pandemic began to endemic since early March 2020 in Jakarta and began to plague nationally in the next period of time. This has an impact on the essential sectors of society other than health, such as education, social, including the economy. This resulted in national economic turmoil due to restrictions on economic activity. As a result, many people have lost their jobs and see a rise in poverty, not only in Indonesia, but also globally. Covid-19 contributed to Indonesia's economic growth in 2020 which reached minus 2.1 percent. In addition, the pandemic has also forced the government to rearrange the budget of ministries and agencies to focus on activities to deal with the pandemic. In addition, the government has also implemented a number of policies to deal with the pandemic, such as Large-Scale Social Restrictions, Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities, and the implementation of a new normal lifestyle. The government has pursued a number of policies and budgeted large costs for handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Therefore, there is a need for a review in this regard.

The Government's Strategy for Restoring Indonesia's Tourism Post-Covid 19

The Covid-19 pandemi has an extensive impact on the country's economy, including in the tourism sector, one of the most significant contributors to the country's foreign exchange. This study aims to provide an overview of the impact of Covid-19 on the Indonesian tourism sector and strategies made by the Government to overcome the problems and impacts of Covid-19 on Indonesian tourism. This study uses descriptive explorative qualitative methods and data collection and analysis through literature studies. Based on the analysis, it is found that the Covid-19 pandemic has indeed had a significant impact on the tourism sector and Indonesia's creative economy. One of the significance obtained is that there is an extreme decrease in Indonesia's income due to the circulation of money that does not work. However, the Government has designed policies and strategies to overcome these problems, preparing to complete the recovery of Indonesian tourism after Covid-19.
