Organizational learning concept was used in developing organizations since early 20 th century. Organizations are made of various communities within them. Community of Practice (CoP) are group of peoples who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly. Organizational learning activities in the form of intellectual discourses or 'Tarbiyah' in the context of this study, act as a social learning input that developed activists' mind, body and heart holistically in order for them to practice Islam as a way of life. This study employed a qualitative narrative research approach involving nine participants, six from Selangor and three from Penang Islamic-based Non-Governmental Organization. Result indicated that the 'Tarbiyah' affected on participants' optimism for volunteering and self-satisfaction. It affected on their passion to contribute more as it provided a boost to their self-esteem. In essence, 'Tarbiyah' provide a powerful organizational learning model for this Islamic-based NGO which contributes to changes in individual and organizational behaviour. 'Tarbiyah' in the CoP of the NGO led individuals to co-learn, share knowledge and enrich their repertoire of becoming a better organization members and eventually enhance the larger community wellbeing.
This paper aims to develop a conceptual framework to explain how organizations may respond in the case of conflict between Islam and other institutional logics. Taking into consideration some theoretical and empirical studies, I propose that there are two main alternative ways for organizations to react in such a conflict: according to the merits of the religion or according to the norms of the field. I argue that the former alternative promotes the protection of religious authenticity whereas the latter promotes the reinterpretation of religious rules and is thus in touch with modern practices. I further offer some ontological and functional aspects of Islam as antecedents of organizational responses. This research aims to elaborate on the development of the values of religious education in Islamic universities or the Aly As'adiyah as a cadre of religious leaders. The implementation of religious education values in Aly As'adiyah's capacity to print religious leaders in Wajo District, South Sulawesi was developed and the results of implementing religious leaders cadre using a qualitative approach involving as many as 43 people. Informants were selected by purposive sampling method. This research took place from January to March 2019. Analysis of the data used a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the analysis describe that there are only a few Islamic university alumni who can only be said to be religious leaders, both with the anregurutta and gurutta titles. There are three factors supporting the development of the values of religious education in cadre students to become religious leaders in the Aly As'adiyah Islamic College, namely the value of shafi'i religious education; the value of worship education that performs obligatory worship and sunnah worship; and the value of moral education such as sipakatau, sipakalebbi, and sipakainge.

This paper attempts to descriptively explore the exposition on the sociology of knowledge as a new branch of sociology. This description aims at proposing the basic understanding of the nature of the discipline and further introducing its possible application for the rejuvenation of Islamic religious sciences. It is due to the fact, however debatable, that these sciences are sometimes discerned so rigid, absolute, and unproductive; so that the application of the method becomes inevitable. Within this context of applying the sociology of knowledge to develop Islamic religious sciences, the paper critically discloses fallacy in that the method generates ideological premises of pluralism, relativism, and liberalism. The demanding application thus poses intellectual challenges against the Muslim community.

Education (tarbiya) in the Muslim Brotherhood
This paper presents some preliminary findings of my research about the history of educational thought and practice within the Muslim Brotherhood. It discusses some aspects of Hasan al-Banna's Letter of Instructions, which is the foundational text of Muslim Brotherhood pedagogical thought, and compares their interpretation in later Ikhwani commentaries. The paper demonstrates that the tension between an inward-looking, exclusivist tendency and an outward-looking, open-minded tendency is a fundamental paradox in Ikhwani education that also affects the political performance of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Religions
There is a knowledge gap in the contribution of socio-cultural work in Islamic organisations to the participants’ learning and development. This article focuses on the role of the socio-cultural work of Islamic organizations as a form of non-formal education. Education is the internal process of a person which leads to a better understanding of themself and their situation, a critical appreciation of their situation and a conscious and targeted use of the possibilities in their social situation. Therefore, what volunteers learn when they participate in socio-cultural work in mosque organizations will be investigated. The research is based on the case study of a Turkish faith-based organization Milli Görüş Amsterdam-West (MGAW) and its volunteers. The method of the research is ethnographic field research. SYNTHETIC AND CONTEXTUAL STUDIES OF ISLAM IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF THE ISLAMIC COMMUNITY
Illuminatio/Svjetionik/Almanar , 2020
The educational institutions of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina have a long tradition of training in Islam that emerged and developed in different frameworks of public law and different cultural contexts. In the course of intensive discussions on the presence of Muslims in Europe and debates on solving the Muslim issue, and on models of educating imams and Muslim authorities, educational institutions of the Islamic Community have the opportunity to offer their own concept of Islamic education based on synthetic and contextual studies in Islam. The synthesis of the entire Islamic intellectual tradition will re-discover the authentic potential of the Islamic message in Islamic sources and tradition, a potential which may be an equal and credible partner in the contemporary Bosnian and European context. On the other hand, if it aspires to be relevant, to work in the European context Islamic education must inevitably focus on studying crucial issues of the European environment and offer satisfactory answers. The text of the Qur’an makes it known that context provokes even God’s direct response and intervention. Muslim intellectual tradition inherited the practice of applying religion in context. The Muslim educational system has long felt a pressing need to educate and profile the context-'ulamā' (scholar), experts who have both religious knowledge and the authoritative knowledge of context. In this respect, educational institutions of the Islamic Community should offer their own model based on their experience and authentic understanding of Islam and Islamic intellectual tradition, since such a model cannot be offered by Europe. This paper argues for the development of a concept which will be a proactive result of Bosnian Muslim intellectual self-awareness and universal responsibility for mankind, rather than being a passive adjustment of Islamic thinking and Islam to Europe, waiting for European instructions. In the shift from the present paradigm of adjustment to a new stage, the paradigm of promotion and recognition is necessary.
