There is a close relationship between the Islamic conceptualization of curriculum and the nature of the Islamic faith. An Islamic curriculum can be defined as an integrated system of constant divine facts, criteria and values, as well as changing human experiences and items of learning and skills which an Islamic academic offers to learners therein in order to enable them to attain the degree of perfection for which Allah has prepared for them. The Islamic curriculum transcends the limited space of pure religious subjects to embody every useful knowledge. Islamic Education Curriculum in the Concept of the Koran

The curriculum is the most important part of the educational process which serves as the direction of educational goals. Al-Qur'an as a holy book and a source of reference for life has actually given a signal that the importance of curriculum development, especially for Islamic educational institutions, is in accordance with the needs and demands of the times. By using literature analysis and analysis of the verses of the Koran, this research shows that the Koran wants a balance between the curriculum relating to general science and Islamic science. This research comes to the conclusion that the concept of the Koran does not recognize secularism and the dichotomy of the curriculum, but the ideal curriculum according to the Qur'an is an integrated and holistic curriculum.

In the development, curriculum should be positioned as "the heart of education" and do not get stuck with one-dimensional curriculum that is practical only. This study describes and analyzes the Islamic concept of education, curriculum of Islamic education, sources of Islamic education, functions and importance of Islamic educational curriculum and its overall role in the process of teaching and learning. The study then seeks to elucidate a theoretical conception of ‘Islamic educational curriculum’, which takes into consideration the Qur’anic approach and Prophetic Sunnah, alongside commonly held approaches to education in Muslim history. The Pedagogical Competence of Teachers of al-Qur'an Hadith Studies in the Implementation of the 2013 Curriculum The focus of this research is the pedagogical competence of teachers of al-Qur'an Hadith in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. This research is a qualitative descriptive using a pedagogical and socio-cultural approach with data triangulation methods. The primary data consisted of the Head of Madrasah, teachers of al-Qur'an Hadith studies, and deputy head of madrasah for curriculum, public relations, student affairs, and facilities and infrastructure. Secondary data is in the form of documentation from teachers of al-Qur'an Hadith, educational staff, books, journals, and other supporting data. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.The results of this research show that teachers of al-Qur'an Hadith have the competence of pedagogy in implementing the 2013 curriculum, but in its implementation, there are still deficiencies especially in terms of making learning tools, which is not optimal, because there are still teachers who copy and paste the learning tools from the internet as well as in terms of the limitations of teachers of al-Qur'an Hadith in the use of learning media so that they cannot be utilized by the students. This research is expected to create synergy between government programs with all parties involved in implementing the al-Quran Hadith curriculum, especially at the Madrasah level in Makassar to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers of al-Qur'an Hadith and become solutions as well as the motivation of students in improving the quality of learning so that students can actualize the materials learned in everyday life to achieve the goals of Islamic Education.

Curriculum Conception in the Perspective of the Book Ta’lim Al-Muta’allim

Education from the Islamic perspective, as a long life process and the function of Islamic religious education, should endeavor to teach and help students acquire different aspects of knowledge within the parameters of Islam through the use of a well designed curriculum. Through this scrutiny, the ultimate aim of this study is to highlight the model of curriculum in the light of al-Zarnuji in the book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim, the monumental significant book containning basic principles in education, which has been used among the Moslem world in the context of character education. For gathering information, this study is conducted through qualitative research using descriptive analysis. The result shows that there are several sigfinificant kinds of knowledge united to ilmu hȃl comprising the science of belief as Tawhid, Islamic juriprudence as Fiqh and moral as akhlak. Finally, this research is highly expected to contribute the recommendation of conception in curricula in the process of education.

Education is an ultimate source of transmitting and preserving the cultural and moral heritage of any religion. Education has always been of prime importance in Islam. Islam is a complete code for better life which gives instruction regarding all aspects of individual’s life: social, political, economic, material, ethical, national and international. The first verse of the Qur’an begins with the word “Read” which highlights the significance of education in Islam. The verse states, “Read! In the name of your Lord, who has created (96.1) Has created man from a clot (96.2) Read, and your Lord is the most honourable (96.3) who taught with the pen (96.4), taught men what he did not (96.5)”. Qur’an and Sunnah forms the basis of education in Islam. Teaching and learning Qur’an are among the noblest and the best of deeds. The Qur’an gives superiority to educated over uneducated. Islamic Education is amalgamation of knowledge (Ta’lim) with upbringing (Tarbiyyah) and mannerisms (Ta’dib). Islam considers education with no mannerisms as useless ta’lim. One who is sincere in his responsibilities towards Allah is the man of ‘adab’. In educational system, Islam aims to produce one who applies the knowledge of the Qur’an and the Sunnah in all fields of his life. Ki Hadjar Dewantara Educational Thought Perspective of Islamic Education

Education is the guidance in the growth of children's lives so that they can achieve salvation and happiness. Education must have a vision and noble mission; the vision is far into the future beyond time and space, while the mission of Islamic education is on accordance to the concept of Tawheed, so that it will always relevant in every time and all conditions. Education should be based on divine revelation (al-Qur'an and al-Hadith). If education is not guided and does not display the spirit of the two ideologies, the education can be mentioned as a strange education. The focus of this research is the profile of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, his educational thought based on the perspective of Islamic education review, the research is focused on the aspects of the conception of education issues, including: basic, content and education systems. The results of the study are: (1) the concept of education Ki Hadjar focused on aspects of guidance to children in order to achieve happiness based on the nature of nature. This is not consistent with the concept of Islamic education that focused on aspects of worship and Tawheed based on divine revelation; (2) Ki Hadjar's basic education is the principle Pancadarma (five principles), which of the five principle is explicitly no principle of divinity, it is contrary to basic Islamic education which is based on al-Quran and al-Sunnah; (3) the Content or the essence of Ki Hadjar's education is character, humanism, freedom, natural culture. In addition, It is incompatible with the core content of Islamic education Faith-monotheism, worship and noble character divine revelation (4) Ki Hadjar's education system, good goals, curriculum, methods, teachers, students and the evaluation does not lead and is tied to the value of faith and worship. Moreover, it is not in line with the Islamic education system which has always associate with both religious values.

Concept of Islamic Education Curriculum A Study on

This study discusses the concept of moral education. The goals of moral education are: 1) learn the concept of moral education curriculum; 2) the process of internalizing moral education. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological method. The results show that, first: moral education must be based on the concept of Islam and placing morals in science is a shared responsibility because it includes doctrinal implications that the purpose of human life must be within the framework of worship of God. Second: Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School makes morality the basis of education with an internalization process including integrating general and religious subject curricula, habituation methods and 3T programs, namely tahfizh (memorizing), tafhim (understanding) and taf'il (practice).
