This study aims to determine, study and analyze character education management and its effectiveness at SDIT Al-Fityan School Gowa and SDIT Al-Biruni Mandiri Makassar. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The method of collecting data is through interviews with school principals, vice principals for curriculum affairs, students, homerooms and teachers. Other data sources are through observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Character education becomes the main focus of the Indonesian pedagogy sector. Along with the national goal of education, Madrasah Mu'alliminMuhammadiyah Yogyakarta existed as an institution that focuses on building the character of its students. This research aims to describe the ongoing pedagogy practices in Madrasah Mu'allimin. This research is using a qualitative approach.The result of this study shows that character-building becomes one of the primary objectives, along with education and religion. Each form of activity in school or dormitories intended to enhance the character development of the students. The designated schedule carefully arranged by the teachers, straight down for each day. Hopefully, this arrangement would be accustomed to the students when they are graduating from school. The character development from Madrasah Mu'allimin could prepare the students to become a valuable human being for the society, nation, and country.

This study aims to describe the pattern of character formation of students in Schools and Islamic Boarding Schools (studies on MTs Ma'Had Hadith Al-Junadiyah Biru with Watampone 3 Middle School. Character Education through Islamic Education: An Implementation to High School Muslim Students in North Minahasa

This study aims to investigate the implementation of the Character Education method through Islamic Education learning for Muslim students at a senior high school in North Minahasa. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method using a case study design. The researchers collected the data through observation and interviews and analyzed the obtained data through content analysis. The results of the study reported that the implementation of character education methods through Islamic Education learning for Muslim students referred to the National education goals listed in the 2013 curriculum and the Decree of the Minister of National Education Number; 54 of 2013 concerning Competency Standards for graduating elementary and secondary education. Character education can be integrated into all subjects. The implementation of character education for Muslim students at the high school in North Minahasa Regency consisted of parents' involvement, extracurricular activities, habituation methods, exemplary, giving advice, and giving rewards and punishments.

The provision of Article 3 of the Indonesian Act 20, 2003 on the National Education System, has formulated that the National Education function to develop the ability and form the character and civilization of dignified nation in order to educate the life of the nation. One of the educational institutions that take a role in supporting the achievement of National Education goals and build the character of the nation is The Islamic Boarding School. The research aims to see how the model of character education in The Islamic Boarding School as an educational institution that has a role in the development of character education. The sampling research was conducted at The Islamic Boarding School of Ma'had Hadis Biru, the District of Bone, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, through paedagogical and psychological as well as sociological approach by applying Appreciative Inquiry method by digging information about the activities performed in The Islamic Boarding School associated with character education. The results of research show that The Islamic Boarding School has a big role in developing character education as a cultural center through the approach of school culture development (school culture). Character Education at The Islamic Boarding School is able to develop character education model because The Islamic Boarding School is able to integrate traditional and modern learning as well as educational value derived from religious values, the national principle of Pancasila, the local culture, and the purpose of education. This is in line with the Nation Character Education Implementation Guidance that Values developed in cultural education and national character are identified from the Religion, the national principle of Pancasila, Culture, and National Education Goals in Indonesia.

Implementation of Character Education at Madrasahs and Integrated Islamic Schools in Central Kalimantan

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education at the madrasahs and integrated Islamic schools, namely at: SDIT Al-Ghazali, MIN 1 Palangka Raya, SMP-IT Al-Ghazali, MTsN 1 Palangka Raya, SMA-IT Hasanka and MAN Kapuas. The principals, teachers, parents and students were the research informants. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentary study. The triangulation was used to check the trustworthiness of the data. The results showed that the implementation of discipline was by giving rewards and punishments according to school rules; honesty by using the Kantin Kejujuran and some CCTV, while hard work by using school assignments, group study and student work. Analysis Of Policy Development Models For Strengthening Character Education Based On Islamic Education Values In The First Middle Education Unit In Karawang District

Character education policies in Indonesia Photo in Presidential Regulation No. 87 of 2017 concerning Strengthening Character Education which explains the main values of strengthening character education, namely religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation and integrity. The issuance of a national policy as the basis for the implementation of education in Indonesia does not necessarily make its implementation run smoothly, this is due to the lack of understanding of the character education policy and its development model in various educational units and the lack of collaboration between stakeholders in implementing the character education policy. This research can also be used as a mainstay to support the main strengthening of other Character Education; one of them is the Principal and Teacher of PAI in the junior secondary education unit in Karawang Regency; which incidentally is the locus of this research. PIE; as subjects that should be connected with Character Education appear to be separate running entities. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative research method with a case study approach. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the development of character education policies implemented by educational units based on existing regulations. This research is expected to provide recommendations and research guarantees in the form of a compatible and relevant character education policy development model and is applied to junior secondary education units in Karawang Regency.

Character Education Values That Work in Islamic Senior High School Setting

The purpose of study is to discover the character education values that are integrated in lesson plan, implemented in the classroom setting, and classroom academic rules. This is a case study research that focused on describing the integration of character education program in the Model Islamic senior high school of Makassar, Indonesia. Fifty lesson plans were collected, twenty six informants were observed, and five informants were interviewed to have data on character education values that work. The data were analyzed using qualitative approach; data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verification. The result showed that (1) there are eighteen character education values written in the lesson plan; religious, honest, tolerant, discipline, hard working, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, the spirit of nationalism, love to motherland, appreciation of achievement, friendly, peaceful, love to read, environmental and social care, responsibility, (2) the values that work in the classroom are religious, trustworthy, respectfulness, diligent, fair, care, integrity, responsible, honest, love to motherland, courage, and (3) the values that work in the academic rules are disciplines, care, tolerant, friendly, responsible. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menemukan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang diintegrasikan melalui Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, diimplementasikan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas dan aturan akademik sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus yang diarahkan pada pendeskripsian integrasi program pendidikan karakter pada Madasah Aliyah Negeri Model Makassar, Indonesia. Sebanyak 50 RPP dikumpulkan, duapuluh enam informan diamati, dan lima informan diwawancarai untuk memperoleh data tentang nilai-nilai karakter yang dijalankan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitiatif; reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat delapan belas karakter yang tertulis pada RPP mencakup religius, jujur, toleran, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, keingintahuan, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan bertanggungjawab, (2) nilai-nilai karakter yang diintegrasikan dalam ruang kelas adalah religius,amanah, hormat, rajin, adil, peduli, integritas, bertanggungjawab, jujur, cinta tanah air, keberanian, dan (3) nilai-nilai karakter dalam penegakkan aturan sekolah adalah disiplin, peduli, toleran, bersahabat, dan bertanggungjawab.
