MENTAL HEALTH AND SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE AMONG STUDENT OF PROFESSIONAL AND NON-PROFESSIONAL COURSES
This study emerged due to changing role of socializations. Today is social media's era. In this ear many people are use different sites. Like FB, What's App., Twitter etc. In this way world become smaller. That's why people have to face many problems and situation. So this condition has made it mandatory for different courses students to be mental health and social intelligence. The main purpose of this research was Mental Health and Social Intelligence Among Student of Professional and Non-professional Courses. The total sample consisted 80 students, Professional (BCA) (40) and Non-professional (M.A.) (40) were taken. The research tool for Mental Health was measured Dr. D. J. Bhatt and Ku. G. R. Gida (1992).While the tool for Social Intelligence was measured by N.K.Chandha & Ms. Usha Ganeshan (2004). Here 't' test and 'r' correlation was applied to check the significance of Mental Health and Social Intelligence in students. Results revealed that no significant difference in Mental Health with respect to both professional and non-professional students, and also no significant difference in social intelligence to both professional and non-professional courses but mental health and social intelligence between correlation are 53.00 it is good correlation.

The current research was carried out with the aim of investigating the relation between the emotional intelligence and mental health of the students majoring in educational sciences in the year 2012 at the Mahabad Payame Noor University. For this purpose, we chose 86 students from among 150 students through simple random sampling and these 86 people responded to the questionnaire of emotional intelligence and mental health. After analyzing the findings, we concluded that there is a significant relation between the emotional intelligence and mental health of these students and the correlation is positive. The average scores pertaining to physical symptoms, anxiety, disorders in social performance and depression are respectively 13/372, 13/767, 8/418 and 15/569.

The present investigation inspects the correlation between Social Intelligence and Well-Being of teenagers. Social Intelligence is the individual's capacity to comprehend and oversee other individuals and to take part in versatile social connections. Well-Being suggests feeling of satisfaction, bliss, fulfillment with life experience and one's job in the realm of work regarding 'physical', 'mental', 'social', 'enthusiastic' and 'otherworldly' viewpoints. By utilizing Random Sampling Technique, 60 teenagers have been taken from Bhiwani city Of Haryana State. The Tromso Social Intelligence scale and General Well-Being scale have been utilized to gather the data. The outcome uncovers that estimation of relationship between Social Intelligence And Well-Being is .771. The correlation is noteworthy at 0.01 level of significance. So there is a noteworthy positive correlation between Social Intelligence and Well-Being.

IMPACT OF MENTAL HEALTH ON EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF B.ED. STUDENTS.
The present study was to investigate the impact of mental health on emotional intelligence of B.Ed. Students. 200 students, both science and non-science students, studying in education colleges of Faridkot district formed the sample for the present study. The tools used for collecting the data were first mental health scale by Parmod Kumar and Emotional Intelligence scale developed by Anukool Hyde. Data was analysed using \'t\' test and correlation. No significant difference was found between science and non-science students of B.Ed. with regard to their mental health and emotional intelligence. No significant impact was found with regard to mental health on emotional intelligence among science and non-science students of B.Ed.
MENTAL HEALTH IN RELATION TO EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AMONG ADOLESCENT STUDENTS

The present study was designed to assess the Mental health and Emotional Intelligence level of adolescents and to find if the any relationship between Mental Health and Emotional Intelligence. The study was a descriptive one and made use of the Mental health scale and Emotional Intelligence scale as a research tool. A total of 600 adolescents, studying in arts, science and engineering colleges, were randomly selected. The tools, used in the study, were the Mental health scale – constructed and standardized by Kalesh Sharma (2002) and Emotional Intelligence Scale developed by Anukool Kyde and Sanjyoy Pethe’s (2001). The study concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between Mental Health and Emotional intelligence of adolescents.
Social Intelligence and Academic Achievement of College Students – A Study of District Srinagar
The purpose of the study was to compare rural and urban college students on various dimensions of social intelligence and academic achievement. The study was conducted on a sample of 390 college students of third year from district Srinagar. The sample comprised of 187 rural-203 urban college students. The tools used in the study were N.K.Chaddha and Usha Ganesan Social Intelligence Scale (1986) and the average marks percentage obtained by the sample subjects in their first and second year examinations was used as the measure of academic achievement. The data was analyzed by applying mean, S.D, t-test and percentage. The analysis of the data revealed that urban college students when compared with rural college students were found to have high social intelligence and urban college students have been found to have better academic achievement as compared to rural college students.
The current research was done with the aim of relationship between life quality and Emotional Intelligence with General Health. The statistical population of the current research is all of the students of Jondishapour Medical University of Ahvaz in academic year of 2015-16. A sample with size of 200 was selected using multistage cluster sampling method. In order to collect data, Quality of Life Questionnaire, Emotional intelligence questionnaire, General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) have been applied. Research data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation and Regression analysis. The results of the simple correlation showed that the life quality as well as Emotional Intelligence had a positive and significant relationship with General Health. The results of regression analysis also showed that such variables as life quality and Emotional Intelligence played a major role in predicting General Health.
