Covid-19 affects every aspect of human life, especially psychological aspects. Furthermore, adolescents experience difficulties because of the pandemic and therefore require extra change due to the occurring situation. In this situation, adolescents felt stress from having to adjust to the unpredictable situation, as well as anxiety, from facing an uncertain situation. Meanwhile, from the previous year, the news has been updated daily, concerning the number of deaths and positive cases. Teens are able to access news through the internet by listening, watching or imagining the current situation. Investigating the relationship between covid-19 anxiety and psychological distress among female high school students in Tabriz

This study aims to examine the relationship between COVID-19 anxiety and psychological distress among adolescent female students in Region 6 of Tabriz. The research follows a correlational design, and the population includes all students in Region 6 of Tabriz, totaling 1840 individuals. A sample of 150 participants was selected using convenience sampling (due to the COVID-19 pandemic) based on the nature of the research. Participants completed the psychological distress questionnaire by Kessler and colleagues (2002) and the COVID-19 anxiety questionnaire. Notably, due to the pandemic, the questionnaires were completed through virtual platforms (Telegram, Instagram, and email). Data analysis was performed using stepwise regression analysis to analyze the findings. Assumptions related to data parametricity, including homogeneity of variances and normal distribution, were examined. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between COVID-19 anxiety and psychological distress. This study sheds light on the impact of COVID-19 anxiety on the psychological well-being of adolescent female high school students.

Anxiety during COVID-19 Pandemic among Students of University of Shkoder, Albania

The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the extent of anxiety symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic on university students of Shkoder. Another purpose is to find out the relationship between anxiety symptoms with some demographical variables such as gender, age, level of study, field of study and having been infected or not by coronavirus. Data was collected using the Corona Disease Anxiety Scale (CDAS), administered online to assess the anxiety level. The sample consists of 175 university students from different Faculties of the University of Shkoder. The results showed that the prevalence rate of heavy anxiety during the pandemic is about 10.3%. T-test indicated that female students are more prone to experience anxiety during the pandemic than male ones. Anova analysis indicated that midwifery students show the highest level of anxiety compared to other fields of studies. A qualitative study to assess the Level of anxiety associated with COVID-19 among high school students

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on school children especially in their academic performance which may affect their mental health. The study aimed to assess the anxiety level of high school students. A cross sectional electronic study conducted among high school students in Tamil Nadu, the southernmost state of India. A total of 302 high school students participated in the study. A two sectioned self-structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 16.0 version software. A chi-square test was used to investigate the level of anxiety among students and ANOVA test used to find the mean difference between groups, with significance set to P<0.05. Among 302 participants, 41.7% (n=126) were male, 58.3% (n=176) were aged 13-17 years. The study indicated that majority 132 (43.7%) of study participants reported that they had Mild anxiety which was followed by 77 (25.5%) no anxiety and 62 (20.5%) moderate anxiety. Factors such as age, gender, family members tested positive or being quarantined were having association with anxiety level. The researcher concluded that the high school children are experiencing a considerable level of anxiety during lock down of COVID-19 pandemic period. There was a strong association of anxiety level of students, if any family members are tested positive for corona virus or any one is being quarantined for the symptoms of corona virus.

Investigation Results of the Anxiety Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Individuals

In this study, 403 participants were asked questions to determine the preventive measures being taken and anxiety levels during COVID-19 Pandemic. Participants were almost equally divided between women (55%) and men (45%). The rate of most worried persons about the pandemic was 62%. The risk of anxiety of women compared to men has been calculated as 2.1 times higher (95% CI 1.20–3.84). The Cramer’s V value of the change in hand-washing habit before and after COVID-19 outbreak is 0.706, indicates the existence of a strong relationship. The data is analysed by using SPSS 24.0. ODDS Ratio values are calculated to determine the impact levels, and Cramer’s V value is calculated to determine the relationship in behavior change in hand-washings habits.

The Determination of the Relationship Between the Anxiety and Fear Caused by COVID-19 and the Sociodemographic Features and Predictive Effect

Anxiety and fear are important problems that cause individual's problem and quality of life. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between anxiety and fear in individuals due to Covid-19 and sociodemographic characteristics, and to investigate the anticipation of anxiety and fear to covid-19. This research was conducted as a relational screening method between 20 March and 8 April 2020. 1200 volunteers participated in the study. Visual Scala Scale was applied to students online. The individuals participating in the study were asked to score between 0-10 on their perception of anxiety and fear due to Covid-19. In the scale questions, participants were asked to show your subjective perception on a ruler numbered from 0 to 10. In this case, 0 anxiety and fear, 10 most anxiety and fear options were asked to be filled among those included in the research. For the predictive effect of the one-way Anova and anxiety and fear variable, simple regression analysis methods were performed. In the light of the research results, there is a relationship between anxiety and fear levels due to covid-19 and gender, age, education and marital status. We also found that Covid-19 was a significant predictor of participants' anxiety and fear levels.
