Reproductive child health clinic and 14 at Labour ward. Workers (nurses) were chosen for the study according to their convenience to the researcher. Qualitative data analysis was employed in order to make meaning out of the information collected. The study found out that the stress related factors among the workers were the workload, role ambiguity, role insufficiency, work family relations, adverse working conditions, career development, time pressure, individual factors. Organizational adjustment, changing global scene and working under two perceived supervisors. The physiological stress related effects also included the feeling of anxiousness, irritation and depression. Whiles being irritated, their working relations with both clients and colleagues begin to change negatively especially towards innocent clients; also, excessive sweating which is a sign of stress and fatigue makes the workers uncomfortable to continue working and subsequently loses interest to work and sometimes have trouble concentrating. These factors have affected the workers in several ways including reduced productivity, low employee morale to work and poor working relations. The proposed recommendations include electronic folder management system, an enhanced staff strength with proper motivation of the staff.

In today’s competitive global environment, employee performance is an essential element of a company’s success. Employee performance can be significantly hindered by high levels of stress experienced in the work environment. Stress is a universal element and persons from nearly every walk of life have to face it. Employers today are critically analyzing the stress management issues that contribute to lower job performance of employees. The main aim of the study was to evaluate stress and its effect on employees’ performance. The study was conducted at Ghana Health Service, Wa Municipal. Descriptive survey was adopted as the research design. Purposive and simple random sampling techniques were used in selecting a sample size of 50 out of a population of 100. Questionnaires were used as data collection instrument. From the results obtained, it was evident that there were many stress factors that the respondents endured, and the enquiry proved that stress has an effect on performance. Majority of the respondents reported to work under pressure and that they feel uncared for by the organization. The fact that majority of respondents thought of leaving their job, and felt that the organization did not care about them was a reflection of huge dissatisfaction that undoubtedly lowered performance. It was recommended that Management must conduct an analysis of the organizational mood and climate by assessing the reasons why the employees think Ghana Health Service does not care about its employees and what they can do to change it. It was also suggested that an Employee Assistance Programme be introduced for early identification and intervention on problems so that performance levels do not decrease.
Manage of Job Stress and Measure Employee Performance in Health Services
This research on health service employees who are in Jakarta wants to observe the work stress experienced and how the risks will arise from organizational commitment and employee performance. The design of this research is to use a survey method with crosssection data collection using a questionnaire. A total of 82 employe1es of the Private Hospital consisting of Doctors, Nurses and Staff as respondents in this study, were determined by utilizing the simple random sampling method. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a design in analyzing data analysis on testing research hypotheses. The results of the study present the results that work stress has a negative and significant impact on organizational commitment, then work stress that has a negative and significant impact on employee performance, then high organizational commitment can actually cause a positive and significant impact on employee performance.

The aim of this research study is to determine the impact of job stress on performance of employees working in Social Security hospital of district Okara and Sahiwal in 2017. The factors of job stress studied were: workload, role ambiguity and role conflict. A sample of 204 employees was chosen by using purposive, non-probability sampling technique. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed and 200 responses were fit to analysis. The data was analyzed using SPSS 21 software. The results were obtained by descriptive statistics, correlation; multiple regression and ANOVA tests. The findings showed that there is statistically significant positive effect of workload and role conflict on performance of employees while insignificant relationship shown by role ambiguity. Aim: This study assesses the level of stress and its relationship to the job performance of the employees in a private hospital. Materials and methods: This study used a descriptive-correlational design using a questionnaire. The total enumeration was used in this study to represent the population adequately with 295 respondents. To analyze the data frequency, percentage, mean, and Pearson-r were utilized. Results: Results include: (43.70%) are 25-34 years old; (63.40%) are females; (52.20%) of them is rendering their service less than five years; (31.20%) are earning 9060 to 10059 pesos; (32.20%) are in the nursing department. The stress level of the respondents had a mean score of 2.31. The overall job performance of the employees shows a mean score of 3.43. Also, Pearson-r revealed a score of (r =-0.17, n = 295, p = 0.01). Conclusion: The researchers conclude that: the hospital employees in a secondary hospital in Urdaneta City are young adults, that is female dominated and are relative neophytes who are making a decent amount of money, who are nurses. Hospital employees are experiencing minimal stress. The employees are a high-performing human resource. The stress level of the employees has a minimal damaging connection with their overall job performance. Clinical significance: The results of this study will be a guide for the plans and activities in stress control, and enhancement of employees' job performance. Moreover, the results of this study will increase the employees' awareness about the stress they are experiencing, their job performance level, and how stress influences their job performance. The findings of this study will also give patients information about the quality of service the employees provide to them.

Ensuring good health is key towards improving one’s quality of life. However, that cannot be fully attained when the people responsible for the health and wellness of nations are not given the required resources and space to operate to promote good health in the world. There are situations which may jeopardize their work, they include high workload, increased pressure at work, poor working conditions, lack of career growth opportunities, role conflict and ambiguity and poor working relationships. The present study was conducted to assess the effect of occupational stress at the various departments of 3 health facilities in La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly. They include Madina Polyclinic, Bennett Memorial Clinic and Esidem Hospital. A survey design of 80 respondents was sampled in 3 health facilities in the district. Results showed that health workers such as nurses, doctors, physicians, midwives, laboratory technicians, pharmacists and other support staff encounter various kinds of stressor such as increased workload, long working hours and poor working conditions. The effects of stress on health workers were anxiety and frustration, depression, dissatisfaction, absenteeism and aggression. There was, however, no significant relationship between level of overall stress and job performance. It was concluded that there was a need for the management of these health facilities to take proactive steps in ensuring that health workers are taken through stress management programmes on annual basis and also institute a great working and friendly work environment for their employee

The purpose of this research was to determine main stress factors that health workers face with and ways of coping with this stress. To this end, data were obtained by face to face questionnaire from 103 health care workers employed in Merzifon Asker Hastanesi. These data were analyzed with SPSS 16.0 package program. At the end of the study, 83 % of the participants stated that they have vario common workplace gossip, relations with managers, injustice in performance evaluation as well as patient dissatisfaction and fear of complaints were found as leading stress factors. When methods for coping with stress were questioned, most common found that stress factors and coping methods differ based on occupation, sex, and business life time. Considering that services in health sector should be carried out with the least error possible, its obvious that personnel satisfaction has a key role. Therefore, there is an urgent need for effective studies about individual and corporate stress management are needed in our health corporation for the reduction of stress factors.

Background: Doctors especially house officers are under a great deal of stress related to a variety of occupational stressors. Occupational stressors contribute to organizational inefficiency, high staff turnover, absenteeism due to sickness, decreased quality, and quantity of practice, increased costs of health care, and decreased job satisfaction. One of the organizational outcomes that affected by occupational stress is job performance. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of job stress on job performance. Methods: The universe of the study is District Abbottabad and the complete population of house officers was targeted which were present at that time were 55. The data obtained through questionnaire was analyzed using the statistical methods including descriptive statistics, Spearman's correlation and multiple regression.
