This research is based on the situation of students at the State Islamic University Imam Bonjol Padang that were stressed due to the changing of learning process into online learning during the pandemic of covid-19.The study aims to describe students state based on physical response, emotion, and behaviour. Quantitative method with descriptive approach were used. The objects of the research were chosen based on Random sampling. The instrument used in the research were questionnaire based on Likert. The research found that the level of academic stress based on physical response was high at 68 %, while in emotional response was 70 % and 65 % based on behaviour. The result of the research can be used as data to improve the quality and innovation of teaching and learning during the pandemic to avoid greater issues.

The Covid pandemic has a major impact on various fields, one of which is in the field of education. Currently, all sectors in the education sector are experiencing a period of adaptation in the implementation of the teaching and learning process. Perceived stress among university students in Oman during COVID-19-induced e-learning

Higher education institutions across the world moved to e-learning in response to the disruptions caused by the pandemic. While e-learning has an advantage for students that they can attend to their courses from anywhere at their convenience, yet the sudden disruptive shift to e-learning during the pandemic saw students facing many challenges, which had strong ability to induce mental health issues among the students. This study aimed at examining the impact of COVID-19-induced e-learning on the university students’ stress perceptions in Oman. A total of 966 usable responses were received. The results showed that 96.9% (moderate stress = 82.5% and high stress = 14.4%) reported having experienced stress through e-learning during COVID-19. The world is probably facing the biggest health crisis in the history of the 21 st century. The corona virus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has placed every nation on its knees shutting down various sectors and industries including the education system. Teachers, learners, and other education constituents are currently in turmoil as to what will going to happen to the education sector given the mandate of most governments worldwide regarding social distancing as part of the 'new normal'. It is in this sense, that educational institutions are developing an online program as a viable platform to facilitate learning and to ensure that learners continue their academic pursuits invarious social restrictions. However, online learning in itself is not without gray areas. UNESCO would say that students find a hard time to cope with the demands of online learning. As a result, they often end up in deep anxiety just to meet their online academic requirements. This study, therefore, focused on gathering data on the stress that the pandemic stimulated among learners as they continue to embark on their academic responsibilities using online learning as a tool in pursuing their academic endeavors given the social restrictions of the new normal.

The spread of the COVID-19 disease has made the government issue an online learning process policy to break the virus spread chain. Online learning is a new learning method, and students are not used to it. They are struggling to the learning concept and do not understand how to use the supporting applications of online learning. The purpose of this research was to study factors affecting stress of online learning due to the COVID-19 situation at the Faculty of Education, Thailand National Sport University Chonburi Campus, and to create equations to predict the stress of students. The samples consisted of 280 students in the Faculty of Education, Thailand National Sport University Chonburi Campus. The research instruments were the Suanprung Stress Test and a questionnaire gauging emotional and mental status, perceived severity of stress, opportunity for risk of stress, perceived usefulness of stress management, university policies that promote stress management, environment, and social support. The Indonesian government formally enforces rules of study, worship, and work from home from March 16, 2020. Minimizing and limiting meetings involving physical contact is an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. These conditions have implications for the effectiveness of the learning process in higher education. The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of student psychology on online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method uses a qualitative research type of phenomenology.
