Sheriff Bob Smith captures wanted fugitive Bob Moore and learns that the young outlaw's real name is the same as his. The boy's sister, who he has not seen since childhood, is arriving from the East. He begs Sheriff Bob to take his place and spare her the humiliation of a brother in prison, and reluctantly, the lawman agrees. Smith welcomes beautiful Molly to live on his ranch, but despite trying to resist, falls in love with his "sister."
