Jun, who seems out of place as a worker at a rose garden in the Hong Kong suburbs, loads flowers onto a truck and departs. At the pier, he hands a bouquet of roses to Hyeong-ja. She is rescued by Jun just before attempting suicide. Hyeong-ja gradually develops affection for the cold Jun. Meanwhile, the Japanese gang leader Dae-hwa, searching for the traitor Jun, sends Sam-bin, Jun's old friend, to Hong Kong. Hyeong-ja follows Jun, now a fugitive, but they are eventually captured.
