Underdog boxing movies are plentiful, especially after the industry dominating success of 1976�s �Rocky� and its sequels, with the last 50 years of filmmaking working to recycle the formula to varying degrees of success. �Christy� is another tale of a nobody trying to be a somebody in the world of boxing, exploring the saga of Christy Martin, who enjoyed sporting glory during the 1990s.
