Sally Cambridge is a single mother battling an unhealthy relationship with her volatile ex-husband, Brad. Then 16-year-old Jack, the elder of her two sons, suddenly starts exhibiting violent tendencies. Despite Sally's interventions, his behavior only worsens. In a fit of rage, he attacks Sally and critically injures his younger brother, Leo. Erroneously arrested for child abuse. Sally finds her fate rests in the hands of her family.
