Pedro aka Lefty is a young card player who is assaulted by some guys who had won a game of poker at the village fair. Lefty manages to hurt and see the face of one of his assailants, when leaving the village Lefty finds a child crying next to his wounded father, as Lefty approaches he realizes that the wounded man is the man who assaulted him and whom he wounded. The father of the child dies and is buried and child swears to avenge his murder without suspecting that the man who helped him killed his father.
