Ran is a young woman who meets small-time thief Juchin after he inadvertently cares for Ran's six-year old niece Shiayou. Against his better judgement, Juchin begins a charitable existence, spending time with Ran, Shiayou, and Shiayou's father Feng, who suffers from a rare disease that results in paralysis. Ran may be in line for a similar fate, so Juchin puts his life on the line to find the money to pay for an operation. But when the triads come for Juchin's head, will he be able to hold them off long enough to save his newfound lady love?
