�Frankenstein� has been done to death. Originating as an 1818 novel from author Mary Shelley, the tale of creation and revenge has been resurrected in all forms of media for over a century, finding its greatest popularity in the world of cinema, where the darkness of the story is allowed to be explored in full. There�s been no shortage of adaptations and general riffs on Shelley�s creation, but such well-worn artistic terrain doesn�t deter writer/director Guillermo del Toro.
