Shawn Levy hasn�t made a movie in a long time, last seen on screens with 2014�s �Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.� A vanilla filmmaker with a penchant for saccharine sentiment and editorial permissiveness, Levy tries his best to make �Free Guy� resemble everything else in his career, but he�s not able to completely extinguish the spirit of this amusing picture, which takes audiences into the battle zone of an open world video game, with one fringe participant learning to become a very big deal in the name of love. �Free Guy� has issues with overlength and formula, but it has Ryan Reyno ...read more...
