The Three Mesquiteers are searching for the individuals responsible for some missing gold, taken from the local bank. The banker has been charged with stealing the gold from his own bank and the Mesquiteers are looking to clear his name and catch the real crooks. Their search leads them to a nearby ghost town that may hold the key to breaking the case wide open.
