Cold hearted killer Bill Larson hatches a plot that even his vicious criminal underlings find sobering. Local barfly Moose Walters has just been given custody of his niece Nola Day, and been made executor of his brother-in-law's estate. Knowing a good opportunity when he sees one, Larson shoots him down and assumes his identity. Larson must have Nola killed to gain possession of her inheritance.
