Judge Pao is a money-grubbing Imperial judge who'll trade justice for cash. But he has a change of heart when rape victim, Chi, is framed for the murder of her entire family. Pao comes to her aid, but is pursued by the local magistrates for his corruption. It isn't until he befriends the Emperor, and perfects the "martial art of cursing" that he can bring justice back to his name.
