Director Ben Wheatley has built a career making tough, impenetrable semi-horror pictures that explore grim psychological abysses and shocking violence. He�s dealt with domestic meltdowns (�Down Terrace�), period torment (�A Field in England), and cult nightmares (�Kill List�), but �High-Rise� pulls Wheatley into the big time, gifted known actors and a reasonable budget to create a suspense feature that details a vicious societal breakdown in a tight, suffocating space.
