Helen Carsons sets sail for Tahiti to pay a visit to her father's coffee plantation, unaware that he has been murdered by the head of a corrupt cartel. En route, she is romanced by both Tom Willoughby, the ship's radio officer, and Dick Bannister, the son of the man responsible for her father's death. A shipwreck leaves Joan and her suitors stranded on a desert island where danger lies in wait for Joan.
