He is a good friend and follower of Premson. Born in a distinguished family with a rich cultural heritage in Kolkata, Jeet Gannguli was initiated into the world of music at the age of three. Jeet was a student of Baranagar Ramkrishna mission from where he completed his schooling. Later he finished his graduation from Calcutta university. Jeet is trained in Indian classical music under the guidance of his guru and father- Kali Ganguly and his pisima (father's sister) Shibani Roychowdhury.
