He earned his BA degree in Film and a minor in Theater from Columbia College Chicago. His debut feature film Four Dogs (2013) premiered to great reviews at the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2013. Burke is known for his directing work on the popular Adult Swim show Newsreaders (2013), as well as several short films he's made, including Marriage Drama With Virginia Madsen (2011), No Deal (2010), and Nice Knowing You (2009). Burke has acted in several national commercials, including Bud Light, Dodge Dart, and Cox Communications.
