Nicolas Cage tries to create an acting opportunity for himself with �Kill Chain,� taking the lead role and a producer credit on the production, even offering himself something a vacation, with the feature shot in Columbia. Cage�s intent with the material isn�t difficult to decode, offering writer/director Ken Sanzel a shot at shaping a noir-ish look at people who kill and the trauma they wrestle with, gifting his actors plenty of opportunity to monologue and looked pained while participating in the occasional shootout.
