There are those moviegoers who are not looking for the biggest, loudest, flashiest explode-o-rama this summer. This is an older, more refined clientele who would prefer interpersonal relationships over transforming robots and dialogue over mindless shouting. That is the audience Larry Crowne is going for. At the beginning of Larry Crowne we see our titular hero, played by its affable co-writer/director Tom Hanks, as he busies himself at his job at UMart, a Walmart-ish (or is it Buy-N-Large?) suburban superstore.
