Two years ago, writer/director Celine Song made her debut with �Past Lives.� It was an offering about longing and life, sold with an indie film tilt that secured sterling reviews and impressive box office, helping to launch her career. She�s back in the thick of yearning in �Materialists,� examining a different processing of love and attraction, which the lead character turns into a type of math to serve her job as a matchmaker.
