A Doctor, his wife and their friend help an injured man who is part of a foreign spy ring that plans to set off nuclear bombs throughout the US. The unsuspecting good samaritains are taken hostage after the injured man reveals the plans before dying, fearing the horror of a nuclear holocaust the Doctor convinces the spies to set fires to cities instead knowing it would be possible for the US cities to recover from fires.
