Identifying a fantastic performance from Meryl Streep has become old news, watching the legendary actress tear through varied roles with professional brilliance, routinely refreshing awareness of her screen dominance. Somehow, consistency hasn�t stifled her creativity, coming to every project with a specific identity. For �Ricki and the Flash,� Streep transforms into an aging rocker, perhaps her biggest stretch yet, and she pulls it off with alarming success, more credible as a stage queen than most actual musicians.
