It usually takes a few moments before the average action film gets up to speed and reveals its creative strength. �Ride Along� doesn�t waste any time, staging a mall shootout and car chase not before or after the opening titles, but during, pausing the movie to highlight the names of the professionals tasked with manufacturing the final product.
