Writer/director Dito Montiel has enjoyed a very strange career. He�s never had a hit, yet he�s managed to make eight films, somehow convincing producers to keep gambling on his artistic vision, which typically covers rough characters involved in troubling business. �Riff Raff� is his ninth endeavor, and it�s mostly more of the same from Montiel, who works to keep his budget low as most of the story is explored in a single location.
