When the deadly activities of an ex-intelligence operative finally catch up with him, Mace Sowell (Patrick Stewart) surrounds himself with hi-tech weaponry and surveillance equipment. His family and caretaker (Kimberly Williams), beg him to abandon his defenses. But is this simply part of a psychological game, whose goal is to destroy the one man who can implicate a presidential front runner in state-sanctioned murder? Or is Mace pushing past the point of paranoia, into the grip of dangerous obsession? Not even Mace is prepared for what happens next...or is he?
