Sandra graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse, attended Carnegie-Mellon University, and studied acting with Meisner. Sandra starred in a handful of exploitation films from the early to mid 1970s. She is best known for her role as Mari Collingwood in Wes Craven's controversial film The Last House on the Left (1972). She is also known for Voices of Desire (1972) Massage Parlor Murders! (1973), Legacy of Satan (1974), and Teenage Hitchhikers (1974).
