Torgov acted in a handful of movies and TV shows for about ten years; she's especially memorable as the fetching Candace in the raucous hit comedy "Meatballs" and gave a fine performance as the troubled Cynthia in "American Gothic." Sarah called it a day as an actress in the late 80s and now works as an artist and book illustrator in Los Angeles, California (she illustrated the book "Let's Read Together: A Parent's Guide to Beginning Reading" by Ellen Gordon and Eileen Zweig).
