2022�s �Scream� was a sequel to 1996�s �Scream,� with the release meant to revitalize a franchise horror fans lost interest in. The effort paid off at the box office, bringing the Ghostface killer back to pop culture prominence, and the producers weren�t about to let time get in the way of momentum, quickly ordering another chapter of the series.
