This coming-of-age tale involves a teenager trying to make his way through the world. On a ski trip in the mountains, Jessie's father is killed in a tragic accident and Jesse is left to live with his uncle in the snowy wilderness. Soon after, Jesse finds an injured wolf that he insists on nursing back to good health. An unbreakable bond is formed between the two and Jesse begins to find that, despite all of life's hardships, he's not so alone after all.
