A gang member has been murdered, and the police has determined that it's the result of a gang dispute. However, the brilliant Detective Himekawa is convinced that there's more to the case and even goes against the rest of the investigation task force to prove her thesis. After a meeting that ended in a deadlock, Himekawa receives an anonymous phone call telling her that a man named Yanai Kento is the killer. During her investigation, Himekawa meets Makita Isao, a gang member who also needs to find Yanai. Together, they forge a dangerous collaboration to solve the case.
