An 80-year-old Tennessee farmer, Abner Meecham, leaves the retirement home where he's been living and returns to his farm�only to find it's been leased by his son to Lonzo Choat and his family. When Abner sets out to reclaim his house and land, tensions escalate between him and Lonzo to the point of violence, and Lonzo's wife and teenage daughter are caught in the middle.
