A small town in Australia, in the late 1950s: Brownie and Lola are deeply in love. But because they are under-age, their parents are against their relationship and try to separate them. The film was notable as being the acting debut for pop singer Kylie Minogue. The film was never released theatrically in the United States, in part due to a problem with distribution. The film's production company, Delinquents Pty Ltd, took Village Roadshow Corporation, Village Roadshow Pictures and the FFC to court.
