Le Bambole (The Dolls) is a quartet of tales about sex, murder, love and passion. In "Telephone Call" a young bride (Virna Lisi) who spends too much time on the phone with her mother, forces her frustrated husband into greener pastures. "A Treatise On Eugenics" features a serious student (Elke Sommer) looking for the perfect man to father her child but winds up with someone much more ordinary.
